It’s about law not politics, says Muhyiddin

KUANTAN: The sodomy allegations against PKR adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is an issue involving the country’s laws and should not be politicised by any quarter, said Umno vice-president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
He said the police should be the right party to conduct a thorough investigation into the allegations.
“I do not think that Anwar is correct in saying that the allegations were meant to derail his plans to make a political comeback,” he said after paying a visit to the Amalgamated Metal Builders (M) Sdn Bhd factory in Gebeng yesterday.
“We should not shift our focus from the main issue, which involves the country’s laws. Let the law take its course and for the police to ascertain the truth of the matter.”
Muhyiddin was asked to comment on claims by Anwar that the accusations were meant to derail his plans to announce his plan to contest a by-election.
He reiterated that none of Barisan Nasional’s or Umno’s leaders was involved in the so-called conspiracy to destroy Anwar’s political career.
“I am confident the police and the Attorney-General will act based on the country’s laws,” he said.
He also brushed aside claims by Anwar that four Barisan MPs would leave the coalition.
“Ask him (Anwar). I have no idea,” he said.

tunku : yesterday azmin said that anwar will announce the four BN Mps name which will join pkr at melawati stadium but again nothing happened(as usual), they only talks. we can see how anwar is trying to divert the main issue here, that is his sodomy case. the bullet is shot by saiful but in return anwar is shooting everyone else.he's blaming bn, igp, ag, najib etc.by right he should be defending himself from the sodomy allegation or just shut up , let the police do their investigation first but no, this is anwar.he will not shut up cause he knows he's in deep BIG trouble, so he's trying to manipulate his supporters mind and trying to be innocent.
