KUALA LUMPUR, July 29 (Bernama) -- Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar said Tuesday an Internet report that a doctor had found no medical evidence of sodomy on Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's accuser was intended solely to skew public perception and undermine the police.He said the article, "Doctor on the Run: Police Want Him to Fabricate Evidence Against Anwar", published in the "Malaysia Today" news portal Monday was based on hearsay, speculative and ascribed imputations which were totally unfair.
"The police want to state categorically that there is no iota of truth in the allegations made in the aforementioned article. At no time during the course of this investigation did the police detain a doctor or force him to fabricate evidence against the suspect," he said in a statement.
He also advised the public not to jump to conclusions without validating the truth of the allegation.
Ismail said police shall not in any way be influenced or intimidated by any party to avert investigation of this case and that police were conducting the investigation professionally and expeditiously.
He said all kinds of allegations were floating around on the case in the blogsphere and it would not be in the best interest of the police to respond to all those accusations as the case was still under investigation.
"The police are conscious of the fact that this case has to be handled fairly and impartially so that the public has confidence in the way in which it is handled," he said.
He said that upon completion of the investigation, the police would present its case to the Attorney General's Chambers.
"The decision on whether to charge a suspect lies entirely with the Attorney General's Chambers, and the police will respect the decision that is made," he said.
tunku : rpk's news? better think before you accept his news.most of it is all fictions.but i like when uncle pet challenge him, i guess rpk is not brave enough to accept the challenge.somehow i do strongly believe in saiful's allegation base on anwar's past history.

RPK overstepped the boundary when he insulted Uncle Pet that way. And he carries the torch of journalistic integrity? Shame on him. And his piece of "medical evidence" is looking more like a joke now with at least TWO other writings by real medical professionals, both to the contrary.

Well when most of the people thought that its impossible for a 61 year old man, with a bad back and ill health - hold down, rip the pants off of and stick his erect penis into the asshole of a young strapping 23 year old man? Coming back to Saiful, it could be any number of reasons, but definately the least of these reasons would be brute force or violence. I can think of many more ways on how a 60 year old man can get a young man like Saiful into a predicament like the one he is in now without the use of force, but I will leave that to your imagination for now :)-quoted from stephendoss.
Regarding about the medical report which is so controversial, suprisingly there are three expertise doctors finally reveal out their analysis and comments about it, they think is unfair to said that this is a setup done by the government like in 1998. The websites are (http://novandri.blogspot.com/) which is Dr Novandri Hasan Basri, Dr Mohd. Raffick comments in (www.stephendoss.blogspot.com), and also form a doctor which would not want to reveal his name, but commented in (www.stephendoss.blogspot.com). I suggest you log in to the websites to get a clear view of the medical report explanations.
But in a conclusions, I think that in a few days DSAI will be charged for the cases. I also believe that RPK has misinterpreted the facts. He has also exaggerated the interpretation of the doctor writings. I think who ever has been advising him , has not given a fair opinion His writings have come to such a skewed conclusion and now his writings is being politicised. Overall, I think this medical note has not proved or disapprove anything.
And yeah, Uncle Pet is brave to challenge RPK since RPK is insulting him personally. RPK wouldn't be dare enough to accept the challenge, might as well figure out a new article to twist the stories around again.

He is not reliable anymore....willing to stoop so low and so cheap.
He is on the brink of bankruptcy...of ideas, evidences, materials, facts, datas and resources.....relying more on hearsays, biased opinion and skewed conclusion.
I have long ago dismissed him as a respected blogger....I have not visited Malaysia-Today for a long time because of this negative reputation.
He brings shame and a disgrace to the blogger fraternity.
