Karpal Singh who defended PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim against sodomy charges 10 years ago upset by PAS secretary-general Nasharuddin Mat Isa's remarks on the fresh round of sodomy allegations.According to Nasharuddin, the Malays were beginning to believe the sodomy allegations against Anwar, which was made by one of his former aides, Saiful Bukhary Azlan.
"Why did Nasharuddin make such a statement? In making the statement, he has committed PAS as a whole, he being its secretary-general," said Karpal.
"Nasharuddin's statement is not only contemptuous and ill-advised, but an open attack on Anwar who is presently embroiled in efforts to tarnish his credibility by allegations of sodomy."
tunku: not only the majority of the malays but majority of malaysians begin to believe the sodomy charges. the way anwar is acting, every person with brain will believe it, those who are "blind" and friends of his especially from the western will purposely not believe it though they knows the actual fact.

i have friends and relatives who were diehard supporters of anwar back in 1998 till recently. but all that changes after this latest sodomy accusation.they have started to believe that anwar did that.the truth prevails.......only time will tell.
not just the malays,i believe most of Malaysians regardless of race now seems to believe the allegation.people are already sick and tired of all the denial for cooperation by Anwar and also the mystery and riddles of the case.we just wanna know the truth.that's it.

Wow. totally agree. Most of the citizens have started to realize that Anwar's action is a little awkward and unreasonable. They tend to believe that his latest sodomy charges are real. And yup, those who are die-hard fan supporters tend to blind themselves not believing though they know the actual fact.
well i agree with you tunku. I mean, come on lah if you are truly innocent then why do you have to beat around the bushes and create MUCH noise about unnecessary things instead of focusing on his recent sodomy allegation.
Honestly I don't understand why people think Anwar is so "ma'sum" as if not capable of any wrongdoings... In the history of Islam there have been alims and abids (who are way beyond Anwar's standard)but were lured by the devil to do all sorts of sins towards the end of their lives that they are condemned to hellfire. We repeated these stories to others but when it comes to Anwar, it is as if nothing is possible.... Subhanallaah....
I am still wondering why Anwar has not been charged until today when doctor(s) has(ve) examined Saiful, police already have Anwar's DNA profile taken in 1998, and police already have interviewed more than 20 witnesses.
Please do it fast, and once and for all.

that and RPK's explosive style. Like that medical report for example, any prove that this good doctor is indeed not bogus? from the Association? the hospital? and why would the gov do something so foolish that risk vindicating Anwar again? can someone finally address that question?
Bila dah jadi macam sekarang, nampak sangat dia dah menggelabah, macam2 benda dia buat, pergi buka macam2 cerita lain konon2 nak mengalih perhatian. Kalau betul tak salah jangan lah menggelabah.
