Mukhriz: Anwar did it!Addressing this in his debate speech later, Mohd Azmin Ali (PKR-Gombak) noted that the burden was not on Anwar to prove his innocence but on the police to be forthcoming on the details of the police report that serves as the basis for their investigations.
“Today we heard Rembau challenging (Anwar) to submit to a DNA test. It is not that we do not want to give (a sample) - but we have not received the police report. It has been two weeks!” he thundered.
Azmin also lay scorn on the government for their “desperate” and “irresponsible” use of the police to persecute opposition parties.
He also recounted inspector-general of police Musa Hassan and attorney-general Abdul Gani Patail’s role in the investigations against Anwar 10 years ago when they were then investigating officer and prosecuting officer respectively under the Dr Mahathir Mohamad government.
“The same players, the same slander!” shouted Azmin.
“The people want to know who gave the bestial order for the police to act as they did at 12:30 today? If you want to show off the powers you have, I want to inform you that the people will rise up to show their powers. Do not test the patience of the people!
“I challenge Umno to go face to face with the people if (Umno) dares!” he said.
Attacking Azmin’s attempt to drag his father, Mahathir, into the current imbroglio, Mukhriz said past government figures have nothing to do with the investigations against Anwar today. “Who else does he want to accuse now? Persons who have nothing to do with the (present) issue are being invoked today!” said Mukhriz.
He also slammed Pakatan Rakyat MPs for insisting on more stringent standards of evidence as contained in Islamic laws for accusations of sexual violations. “There are leaders over there who are demanding for four witnesses (to the alleged act of sodomy). How can there be four witnesses? They would have sinned if they saw the commission of the act but did not do anything to stop it!”
It led many MPs, both Muslim and non-Muslims, to stand up in protest at his 'disparaging' of Islam.
Zulkifli Nordin (PKR-Kulim Bandar Baharu) demanded to know whether Mukhriz was still Muslim as to warrant his questioning of Islamic laws.
Charles Santiago (DAP-Klang) also jumped up to ask: “Are you challenging Islam?”
Not letting up with his attacks, however, Mukhriz lent support to Khairy - who is his rival in Umno Youth - and insisted that Anwar submit a DNA sample as a “modern method” of evidence.
“I believe that Anwar did it! He did that despicable thing! That’s why I challenge, as Rembau did just now - give the DNA!”
Turning to Azmin, Mukriz said: “Gombak challenged Umno. Umno will take up that challenge!”
Beating his chest, he added: “You want to know which anak jati (real son) is brave to take on a challenge? Here is that son!” he thundered to hoots and thumps on the table of approval from fellow BN MPs.
tunku : bravo mukhriz.azmin only hopes that some idiots will go to the streets and make riots etc to show that they are brave.anwar is accused of sodomizing , why should Umno go face to face with the people?doest that make any sense? anyway mukhriz has accepted your challenge, so don't chicken out.

trust the MPs to make matters worse and fan angers and sentiments. why do we elect them again? from BOTH sides. dun u appreciate calmness now? I know I do, so when people criticise Pak Lah for sleep-walking, I think he's smart to rise above all these.

Kalau nak ikut hukum hudud atau
syariah secara logiknya memanglah
susah hendak mengadakan 4 saksi
ketika kejadian tersebut berlaku.
Saya setuju dengan pendapat
Mukhriz kerana secara rationalnya
jika ada saksi ketika itu sudah
tentu Saiful tidak akan menjadi
mangsa keadaan.
Sekiranya penyokong PKR rasa mereka
lebih Islam daripada Mukhriz,
mereka patut faham bahawa saksi (4)
diperlukan bila mana kita mengesyaki
suatu perbuatan zina sedang
berlaku.Seterusnya kita perlu membawa
saksi-saksi yang sah untuk menahan
daripada perbuatan itu berlarutan.
Sekiranya Saiful dapat membuktikan
bahawa kejadian yang berlaku adalah
satu paksaan maka bagaimana hendak
mengadakan 4 saksi.
Yang penting sekarang, yang dituduh
perlu ada alibi yang kukuh dan sah
ketika kejadian-kejadian itu berlaku
mengikut pengakuan penuduh.
Secara lojiknya jika yang dituduh
tidak melakukan sepertimana yang
dia akui oleh penuduh maka apa perlu
takut.
Walaupun yang dituduh mendakwa beliau
di 'frame' dan mempercayai kepada
hukum Allah daripada hukum manusia
maka bermubahalah sahaja.
Penyokong PKR yang merasai mereka
lebih Islam nasihatkan kepada yang
dituduh supaya membuat mubahalah.
Tindakan ini tidak melibatkan wang
dan secara tidak langsong tidak
timbul lagi kesangsian di mana-mana
pihak bila Allah SWT telah
menetapkan hukumanNya.

it sadden me to see that religion being involved in political usage for their own personal agenda.
It is when DAP (who is opposing Hudud as a law) stand up and asking cynically that a muslim is against the islamic law himself.
Islamic law actually need no modification. U need 4 righteous person? So send your DNA sample and send it to 4 righteous DNA lab.
The main reason for 4 person as a witness is to protect innocent person for being blame. You can easily gather 2 not-fear-of-God fella to accuse someone, but I guess it really hard to gather 4 person to become a witness.
4 report, different place, different scientist. In the name of science. These fella wont forge a report to gain something.
Those DNA sample is not name.. onli model as Sample 1 to sample 9.
I must say think and tell. Being trust to become a representation, don't be too emotional and rally everybody to gather to protest.

If you are one of the two aggrieved party, you don't need 4.
(If not incestual rape would be difficult to prove.
Anwar, just give your DNA and prove your innocencelah.
