KUALA LUMPUR, July 5 (Bernama) -- Lembah Pantai member of parliament Nurul Izzah Anwar said Saturday she was fed up with the latest accusation against her father, Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) advisor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
"I'm fed up with it. For 10 years we have been forced to live with such a slanderous accusation against him," she told reporters at the 25th anniversary of the Saidina Abu Bakkar As-Siddiq Mosque in Bangsar.
She, however, said it would not distract her from fulfilling her responsibilities to her constituents.
Nurul Izzah also said she was leaving the matter to the authorities and hoped that the investigations would be conducted in a thorough and fair manner.
Anwar is facing a fresh allegation of sodomy when a former aide Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, 23, lodged a police report on June 28, alleging that the former deputy prime minister had sodomised him.

Tunku,
I think you have said enough about Anvar, Najib, RPK and Bala. Is it possible for your blog to get back touching others issues. Perhaps that would be better for all of us instead.
I hope to see your more constructive and productive energy being used to help us improve the BN and the party less touching about Anvar, Najib, RPK & Bala. Is it possible to achieve. Hope so. Nomination is coming soon from all UMNO divisions.
nurul o nurul
yr dad is too ambitious my dear like the malay proverbs "membujur lalu melintang patah" Pas called him ultraman, please advice him, give up his ambition,
Too much damages done, his reputation, what yr mother and yr family gone thru all this is due to yr dad strong desire to be a PM by September, time is running and hes getting jittery....poor Nurul,
C'mon Tunku. Stop this hypocrisy and crocodile tears for Izzah.
You have made it patently clear you are anti-Anwar and therefore, anti-Izzah.
They have not asked for nor need your pathetic pretension!
donplaypuks,
Whats got into you? Theres nothing wrong to pity a young girl whos parents influenced her to get into politics we can feel what shes going thru, 10 yrs ago and now it happens again all due to her dads doing.Thats all nothing pretentious its just human and being a malay we all should be sensitive to our own kind politics aside.
