BACHOK: It is not right for Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to hand over the top post to Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak because it should be left to Umno members to decide who their next leader should be, Umno veteran member Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah said.He said the post of the party president did not belong anyone.
He said party members should be the ones deciding the next president of the party.
“It is improper for Abdullah to hand over any post as it is an elected post,” he said after meeting Umno branch members here Thursday.
tunku : you are very right Ku Li. We had enough of the transition thing.it's not up to the president to decide but it's up to the majority through the poll.

Yup. Its not AAB's right to decide for the post to be hand over to DS Najib. It should be made by the supreme council itself.
so during the last power transition.. it's wrong...
but how to stop the money politics from taking place during the election?

Maybe KuLi is feeling the pain right now because he's 'rejected' 'bulat-bulat'.
Maybe from the poll, KuLi is confident enough that he will be able to get the position.
