KUALA LUMPUR: Police on Wednesday served notice to PKR adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to appear at the Jalan Duta sessions court here at 10am Thursday.The notice was served at Anwar's house, says his lawyer Sankara Nair.
On July 16 Anwar was detained by the police in front of his house in Bukit Segambut.
Sankara said the police told Anwar that he was being arrested for investigations under Section 377C of the Penal Code for alleged "carnal intercourse against the order of nature."
Police Serves Subpoena On Anwar
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 6 (Bernama) -- Police on Wednesday served a subpoena on Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) advisor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to be present at the Kuala Lumpur Magistrate's Court, Jalan Duta on Friday.
The subpoena was served by the head of CID, Brickfields District Police Headquarters, DSP Jude Pareira, at Anwar's residence in Segambut Dalam, here at about 12.05 pm.
Pareira, however, did not explain the contents of the subpoena nor the purpose of Anwar's presence at the court tomorrow.
When contacted, the PKR headquarters confirmed that Anwar had received the subpoena.
The PKR advisor is expected to hold a press conference at the PKR headquarters at 3 pm Wednesday.

Finally, DSAI will be summon in the court. Its his second charges on sodomy case. It will be a good time to evaluate the efficient and the credibility of the new reform judicial system in our country.
again its anwar ibrahim, if it was tom,dick and harry, he has been arrested by now and will be produced to the court tomorrow.
Akhirnya, Anwar didakwa juga. Yang pastinya kita semua tak sabar untuk tunggu keputusan daripada mahkamah nanti. Dah tak larat nak fikir pasal isu Anwar lagi...
