The Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) campaign for better treatment of Indians would involve some 10,000 supporters visiting Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's Hari Raya open house celebrations.Hindraf plans to mobilise its members to both Abdullah's open house in Kepala Batas and in Kuala Lumpur to highlight the appeals, said the movement's leader-in-exile P Waythamoorthy.
Similarly, Hindraf also plans to mobilise at least 10,000 members in each state to attend the Hari Raya open house by all menteris besar.
This is among the many Hindraf's activities that were announced by Waythamoorthy, who is currently in England, in an emailed statement today.
"Hindraf would also hold a ‘mega gathering' to commemorate the Nov 25 mass Malaysian Indian protest against ‘neo-colonialisation' of Malaysian Indians," he said.
Police infiltration
Hindraf became hugely popular among ethnic Indians following the Nov 25 rally last year which saw about 30,000 Indians take to the streets of Kuala Lumpur in protest against discrimination by the government.
In another development, Waythamoorthy claimed that Hindraf have been ‘infiltrated' with more than 200 individuals with links to the police special branch.
He warned "genuine supporters" to be wary of the imposters which he claimed are agent provocateurs planted by Hindraf's enemies.
"These agent provocateurs are not necessarily police officers but informers who are in the payroll of special branch. Hindraf will reveal these individuals, with evidence, in due course," he added.
tunku: this is not the way to champion your cause(whatever it is). open house not for gangsters . you can go as normal malaysian and enjoy the open house not to bombard like terrorist. i hope police will be in full force to stop this kind of group. get the leaders and put them under ISA for national security reason. the government should not fear or favour this kind of group which like to bombard people. what are they trying to prove? now that you have more than double of MPs who supported your cause,ask them to fight for you in the parliament.you have 5 states that supported your cause, ask them to show first what they did till today for your group.
about the 25th november, is hindraf trying to make it as their independence day? be very careful of this group. the police should look into this matter very seriously. they can harm our peace and harmony country. the leader waytha like a coward, from england giving instruction. if you are man enough come back and talk.

Yup, this is not the way. Bombarding PM's home with huge supporters to show gangsterism is nto a best option to show your distress towards his leadership. Its not gonna help or changing anything. Its an attitude of barbarian.

Hindraf should pay respect for those who are celebrating their festival on that day than doing protest. This is not an irresponsible action to be done by the group. It is not ethical.
have they forgotten how it's like to feel like a Malaysian? Gangsterism is not the way. They have other means of fighting their cause, by petitions, legislation, elections, the parliment. Not waylaiding the PM at his home on a sacred day for Muslims, and our national holiday too. Imagine what chaos will happen then, imagine how Malays will react to this. It's not because they storm the PM's house. It's because it's on Hari Raya. What an utter disrespect for other people's religion. It's totally against our Malaysian culture, and totally against the spirit of tolerance, peace and harmony that we Malaysians have been practising so far.
Hindraf and all Hindraf supporters are all clearly rabid anti-Muslim.
No matter how much they try to tame that earlier sentiment which they openly cried foul against Islam, is not going to change them, they are only acting.
I know, have heard, all those supporting them, and from their own mouths have I heard them hurling all kinds of abuses to Muslims or anything that has to do with Muslims.
They may have gained sympathy from general Indians, but mind you Hindraf leaders and many amongst them are hateful kafirs - rabid anti-muslim dogs.
The letter of appeal that they passed to British commision, clearly exemplifies this, they though they can earn international support from international anti-muslim teams, they beat the drums about Hindu agony in India, when nothing happened they now try to tame themselves. Bloody impudent rascals.
