It's all about family in DAP

DAP: Father-and-son teams get the votes
KUALA LUMPUR: The Democratic Action Party (DAP) leadership father-and-son teams proved strong at the party's 15 National Congress, both sets getting elected to the its central working committee (CEC).
DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang led the way with 624 votes, followed by his son Lim Guan Eng, DAP secretary-general and Penang chief minister, who garnered 620 votes.
Party chairman Karpal Singh also made it into the 20-member CEC, as did his son Puchong MP Gobind Singh Deo, who shaved it with the lowest vote tally of 305.
Newcomer Tony Pua got 446 votes, but his fellow blogger-MP Jeff Ooi did not make it.
A total of 58 candidates were vying for the 20 seats.

tunku :in this matter at least umno is much better than dap, father and son ,husband and wife running the show.

DAP (Demokrasi Atas Persaudaraan). Blood is thicker than water. Apart from the top four, the rest are mere make out the numbers. So, the DAP reps from Sarawak and Sabah are nothing more than melukut di tepi gantang. Wonder if any of us ever observed why Mr Lee Lam Thye quit DAP. Remember this comrade, "All Animals are equal BUT some are More Equal than others".

for me,there's nothing wrong if there are "blood relationship" in an organization or any political party.but they must make damn sure that they can perform and not just take things for granted.
