Guan Eng’s two-in-one offer to voters

GEORGE TOWN: Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng's message to Permatang Pauh voters is simple – “choose one, get one free”.
“Anwar Ibrahim will not only represent the constituency if chosen as an MP but also has a shot in leading the country by becoming the next prime minister.”
Lim said Barisan Nasional's candidate Datuk Arif Shah Omar Shah would still serve the area even if he lost as he was already Seberang Jaya assemblyman.
He called on his Pakatan Rakyat counterparts not to underestimate Arif Shah as the latter “must be Umno's best candidate” since he was chosen from several hopefuls including Permatang Pauh Umno division chief Datuk Abdul Jalil Abdul Majid and other key leaders.
“I urge Pakatan to work hard and not underestimate our opponent. It won’t be an easy battle,” he said at a press conference after opening the Air Itam Teambuilding Centre (AITC) at the Air Itam Dam yesterday.
Lim described Arif Shah as a “good man” but whose party had problems.
Penang PKR’s information chief Abdul Malik Kassim said Arif Shah was no competition to Anwar.
Abdul Malik joked that Anwar was more kacak (handsome) than Arif Shah.

tunku : normally when you choose one and get want free, the free item usually has no quality or won't last long, may be some defect with it.so be careful when buying or even voting for these 'items'. it's very cheap tactic by guan eng when he said that if ariff shah lost he's still Seberang Jaya assemblyman. if pakatan can hold two position at one time why not ariff shah? penang pkr information chief Abdul Malik Kassim is right when he said Arif Shah was no competition to Anwar but if ariff shah can reduce anwar's votes, that will consider a win for ariff shah and reduce support for anwar.malik kassim was wrong this time when he said anwar was more 'kacak', he should said anwar more 'ayu or jambu' than ariff shah. that's why he has his bad habits.
one big question here is, dap and pkr join hand in hand leaving pas behind when it comes to naming the pm IF(very big one)pakatan comes to power. where is pas?????

Now we can see that PAS is left behind by DAP and PKR. Its more like a payback for what PAS did earlier by making dialogue discussions with UMNO previously.

But then, I think Arif Shah would be a wise choice to be vote by the local people in permatang pauh. Anyway, good luck for Arif Shah in the coming election.

it's look like PAS and DAP arent really click with each other right now.with both of them trying to defend their right and questioning the mistretment they received.well,it's their own affair and let them resolve it by them self.

"Lim described Arif Shah as a “good man” but whose party had problems."

Lim should not forget that DAP as well have their own set of problems.dont just fork out other people problem.

For Permatang Pauh voters.
Choose an MP that can serve your constituency well. Not a fella that will one day come and sit down with you for the voting days... and leave the next day to fight his own battle to be Malaysian Next Top Person - PM...

haha sounds like a new low budget reality show...
