BUTTERWORTH: Apart from reducing the price of fuel when Pakatan Rakyat comes to power, PKR adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said all the mega projects would also be reviewed and if necessary, scrapped.
He said the projects identified were the RM15.2bil high-speed broadband services project, double tracking and the undersea cable.
He however said projects that benefit the people would be retained.

Phreak!
Even if you ever come to power(God Forbid), please do not postponed anymore these 3 project. These 3 project I believed my whole-hearted that will benefit the people in the long run.
For double tracking project. If it goes well, this can improved the public transportation and de-centralized workplace. Means less usage of car to work. Lower cost of living for those working in KL but living in Ipoh or Seremban or further away. Lower cost of living maybe could reduce the bribery case. And can reduce the carbon foot print from out of town commuter.

For the high-speed internet. Yeah. we can have office outside town also but still able to do work. Meeting? how bout vidz conf? Work will be more effective. No need to commute 30 mins for 1 hour meeting. and yes. less polution. Company can save on mileage claims. Oversea company will want to reinvest in Malaysia to utilized the HSB.

Underwater cable? Still need explaination? Oh you are able to pay your 24/7 air-cond and halogen stove bill. So you wouldn't need that would u? There's still people aren't able to pay their lamp and refrigerator bill with the current electric tariff.

and you still say you think about the rakyat? BS.
I'd say if you really take on Putrajaya, the first 5 years you will spend digging other ppl dirt first.. oh wait. that 1 term. So rakyat will suffer, AGAIN.

Owh, bundle of promises you give there DSAI. yet the promises you proses in the states had yet to be fulfill. In selangor there are atleast 9 promises identify by the PKR's but I think only one is slightly fulfill, while the rest of them are not fulfill. Those are:

8-Turunkan cukai pintu sebanyak 20% peratus (BELUM TERLAKSANA)
9-Turunkan cukai premis komersial 10% (BELUM TERLAKSANA)

So, they can talk huge about mega projects, about the benefits of people, owh WTH..Please fulfill the promises in the states you gain before dreaming about reviewing mega projects.
