This Is My Last Term, Says Radzi

KANGAR, Feb 24 (Bernama) -- Home Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Radzi Sheikh Ahmad, who has been renominated to defend his Kangar parliamentary seat, said the general election on March 8 will be his last before he retires from the political arena.
He said he had served as a member of the Umno Supreme Council for a long time and it was now time to make way for new faces.
Mohd Radzi, who is also the Umno secretary-general, said his decision had nothing to do with the political crisis in Perlis, adding that he had long thought about withdrawing after having served the party for four terms.
He expressed confidence that the Barisan Nasional would win in all the five state assembly seats within the Kangar parliamentary constituency.
The five state assembly seats within the Kangar parliamentary constituency are Bintong, Sena, Indera Kayangan, Perlis and Kayang.
There are 43,591 registered voters including 846 postal voters in the Kangar parliamentary constituency.

tunku : by right you should not contest as your own branch did not nominates you.you can tell monkey stories about your retirement plan as you yourself knew that this is what transpired during the "mighty" meeting in putrajaya.
