Hadi To Remain In Marang, Rhu Rendang

two liars

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 19 (Bernama) -- Twice PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang stated his readiness to challenge Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi in Kepala Batas, but to many, it is mere political gimmicks on his part ahead of the general election on March 8.
Abdul Hadi, 61, now is understood will be contesting the Marang parliamentary seat and also defend his Rhu Rhendang state seat in Terengganu.
PAS insiders said Abdul Hadi would most certainly try to recapture the Marang seat, which he lost to the Barisan Nasional's "Giant Killer" Datuk Abdul Rahman Bakar in 2004.
Political observers says it would be suicide on his part if he were to take Abdullah in Kepala Batas, as the latter had won the seat seven consecutive times since 1978.
The Umno and BN president defeated PAS' Abdul Khalid Rasid by a 18,122-vote majority in 2004, compared to a 11,175 majority in 1999 against the same candidate. Abdul Hadi has been standing in Marang since 1986, all the times against Abdul Rahman, except for Datuk Muda Mamat in 1999.
He defeated Abdul Rahman in 1990 and 1995 and also Muda in 1999. Abdul Rahman, who had won the seat in 1986 by a 639-vote majority, ousted Abdul Hadi in 2004 by just 163 votes.
If Abdul Rahman, who is also Deputy Human Resource Minister, is re-nominated for the seat this time around, it will the fifth time they will be battling each other.
Abdullah had said that Abdul Hadi's intention of contesting in Kepala Batas showed the PAS president was no longer confident that PAS would be able recapture Terengganu from the BN.

Hei hei hei Tunku! Are you sure you are correct correct correct when you say Hadi and PAS cakap tak bikin? you must be mabok (like Lingam?) not to say your hero Pak Lah also cakap tak bikin. what have you got to say about our Bodohlah or Bodowi or whatever, who always sleeps during meeting (the camera in the pictures do not lie by the way unlike politicians and bloggers)not honouring the mountains and pledges he made when he tipu the rakyat of their votes in 2004? ...have a nice day Tunku!

Tunku,

why do you think we the Malays should vote for BN/UMNO if Pak lah is a "liar" as you said?

Secondly, your criticism about other leaders/supportes of opposition parties like PAS?PKR should be within the confines of civility and Islamic conduct, not like a youth winger of UMNP Putra or something of the sort. Base insults don't appeal to anyone and it only shows the intellectual pocerty of its owner. Wake up my brother and graduate to the higher truth. If Pak lah is a liar, Hadi and Anwar too, then what's your suggestion? I think vote down UMNO.
