KUALA LUMPUR, March 30 (Bernama) -- International communications consultancy APCO Worldwide on Tuesday reiterated that it neither worked with the Israeli government nor helped to create the 1Malaysia concept, as claimed by Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
"The allegations repeated against APCO Worldwide Tuesday morning in the Malaysian Parliament are false. APCO Worldwide is not working for the government of Israel. We did not devise the 1Malaysia concept," it said in a statement issued to Bernama here.
APCO Worldwide had also refuted on March 18 a similar allegation by Anwar.
On Tuesday, in the Dewan Rakyat, Anwar called on the government to withdraw its contract with APCO Worldwide and set up a royal commission to inquire into the firm, alleging that it posed a risk to national security.
Anwar had raised the issue of APCO Worldwide when providing an explanation in the Dewan Rakyat following a suggestion by Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan (BN-Kota Belud) for him to be referred to the Rights and Privileges Committee for having alleged that the 1Malaysia concept had been copied from the "One Israel" slogan that he linked to APCO Worldwide.
APCO Worldwide said: "In our work as communications consultants, we are not involved in policy formation but in the presentation of information the government intends to share with the public.
"We work for governments that are prepared to take our counsel on transparency, democracy and the rule of law. We are honoured to continue our work with the government of Malaysia."
tunku : anwar the moron actually has no case at all. he is creating fantasy story to divert the issue against him and pakatan rakyat currently.what national security is he talking about? apco is not given any national security access at all.anwar was commenting 1Malaysia with 1Israel....what about 'pas for all' as israel too has this slogan 'israel for all' ? is pas having linkage with israel? he was saying that 1israel is about health so the government too with 1Malaysia had introduced 1Malaysia clinic.......just see his explanation on this issue. it is like a mentally retarded person trying to explain something.hope the people can really see the actual scenario here. he himself is the zionist puppet and being funded by them.

PKR MP Lambasts Fellow Members
KUALA LUMPUR, March 29 (Bernama) -- An opposition Member of Parliament Monday lambasted fellow opposition MPs who he said were capable of slander, libel and practising dirty politics.
Wee Choo Keong (PKR-Wangsa Maju) said a small group of "little Napoleons" in the party were willing to do whatever to slander and disgrace national leaders.
"These actions (by the little Napoleons) have been acknowledged but no action has been taken, but rather disciplinary action had been taken against other leaders based on trifling points.
"If these little Napoleons are capable of such dirty tactics like using fake photos to undermine others, there is nothing to prevent them from destroying this country," he said in the Dewan Rakyat today while debating on the motion of thanks on the speech by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin.
"Little Napoleons", he said, was the reference for those who have some power but act way and above their position.
Wee wanted this group to cease their "dirty political activities and libel over the Internet" to achieve their narrow political interests that placed their self-interests above the interests of the people.
"If this is allowed to continue, our party will be destroyed, our struggles will be in vain and the two-party system will be a dream," he said.
Wee voiced regret about the actions of the "little Napoleons" in relation to the Sept 16 incident and other issues in and out Parliament
"I hope these 'little Napoleons' do not force me to expose them," he said.
Wee also expressed regret about those who questioned about him being picked as an MP to be part of a working vist team to Washington.
"If my being chosen is a matter of contention, then Pakatan Rakyat (PR) needs to have a new policy that PR MPs cannot be a part of all foreign trips with ministers, Speakers and government MPs," he said.
tunku : now what anwar the moron want to comment about this? will he say that wee is paid by umno/bn or najib like his favourite comments on any issue? wee is still a pkr mp.the numbers are getting lesser and lesser.more and more dirty tactics of the moron and his little pharaohs are being exposed.it's good that at last people will know the truth about the moron and his little pharaohs' true colours.

Malays have right to support any NGO: Rais...is that so?
TANJUNG MALIM: The Malays have the right to support any non-governmental organisation (NGO) which they think is fighting for their cause as long as the NGO is not politicised and involved in controversial issue, Information Communication and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said.
He said other communities also had the right to support NGOs which were suitable to their struggle and activities.
“So the message conveyed by (former prime minister) Tun Dr Mahathir (Mohamad) is in line with this context.
“If the struggle is not politicised or saddled with controversial problems, the Malays will be able to support it and the values it carries,” he said.
He was speaking to reporters after opening the “Remembering the Statesman Tun Abdul Razak” programme at Sultan Idris University of Education (UPSI) here.
He was asked to comment on the statement by Dr Mahathir that the Malay right-wing group Perkasa was formed to fight for the rights of the Malays and not an extremist group, and therefore its struggle was in line with that of Umno’s. -- Bernama
tunku : it is so strange nowadays that when Malays fighting for their right it is labelled as a racist act and if others do that, then it's for their right and its ok to do so. unity is the key word here for the Malays, be united.

As usual Anwar hits out at the journalist.
Anwar refuses to comment on Zul Noordin, raps journo
KUALA LUMPUR: PKR adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Thursday refused to comment on the claims by Kulim-Bandar Baru Member of Parliament Zulkifli Noordin on Wednesday, alleging that he had been instructed to link Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and his wife in the case of the murder of Mongolian woman Altantuya Shrubby.
Anwar, when met after the proceedings of the sodomy case against him at the High Court here, appeared to be disturbed by the question posed by a journalist for an online news portal.
“Not necessary ... there is no necessity. Ask him who had instructed him, I don’t know. He had not mentioned any name. Even if he had mentioned, I won’t entertain it.
“As a good journalist, if he said he was asked by somebody, then you should ask him. He (Zulkifli) is in Parliament,” he said.
The woman journalist later explained that she merely wanted to know whether Anwar was denying or confirming the matter.
Anwar responded: “It is a very unreasonable statement from a journalist ... who is paying you to ask this question?”
When the journalist tried to explain that she wanted to be fair and merely wanted to know the actual story from Anwar’s side, the Permatang Pauh Member of Parliament became cynical.
“What do you mean my side of the story ... he did not mention my name ... did he insinuate that it was me?” asked Anwar. -- Bernama

Zulkifli Says Will Apologise To PM
KUALA LUMPUR, March 24 (Bernama) -- Kulim-Bandar Baharu member of parliament Zulkifli Noordin said he would meet several individuals including Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and apologise for the plots to discredit them.
"I've met some of them, talked to them and apologised for the role I might have played in the plot to discredit them. Thankfully, they accepted it in good faith.
"I will also see (the prime minister), that is if he wants to see me," he told reporters at parliament lobby on Wednesday.
Earlier when debating the motion of thanks on the address of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Zulkifli said he was offered a generous reward to implicate Najib and wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor in the murder of Mongolian woman Altantuya Shaariibuu.
Zulkifli also revealed that some time in 2004, he was asked to shame Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Aziz (BN-Padang Rengas) by linking his son to a murder case.
He said he was willing to be investigated but would not lodge a police report because "if I lodge a report, it would become public and people might get embarrassed."
"The victims would not want to be humiliated. In Islam, we should not humiliate others but try to find solutions to a problem," he said.
Asked what was the generous reward offered to him, Zulkifli said, "It comes in various forms, not necessarily involving money."
He refused to expose those who made the offer but said he might do so in the future.
"We are bound by ethics. Things that we don't want said in the Dewan Rakyat we won't say them outside. At this stage, I don't think it is necessary to say anything more," he said.
Asked on his feelings after making the expose, Zulkifli said, "Now I can sleep in peace. I feel that I'm now relieved of a burden, especially the things about the prime minister and Nazri."
tunku: what zul had said in the parliament yesterday is enough for the police to carry an investigation on the plot and conspiracy to hook PM with the murder of altantuya.this is very serious matter.the police should question zul on this matter urgently.zul said that pm had sweared upon God that he is not involved at all with the murder of altantuya but one leader still dare not to swear.he was referring it to the moron anwar who does not dare to swear that he did not sodomize saiful.so it is clear now and even zul believe that anwar is guilty.

Oil royalty: Kelantan appoints Ku Li as rep
KOTA BARU: The PAS-led Kelantan government has decided to appoint former Petronas chairman Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah as the state government’s representative in discussions on the oil royalty with the Federal Government.
Chairman of the State Committee on Financial Planning, Economy and Welfare Datuk Husam Musa said the decision was made at the state executive council (exco) meeting chaired by Mentri Besar Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat on Wednesday.
He said the meeting also decided that Tengku Razaleigh, who is also the Member of Parliament for Gua Musang, would be asked to resolve the issue on the claim within four months beginning Wednesday.
“The official letter on the appointment will be sent to Tengku Razaleigh in the near future,” he told reporters after the exco meeting.
The Kelantan state government insists that the Federal Government paid the oil royalty instead of the compassionate payment.
The Federal Government has claimed that according to regulations, the state was not eligible for the royalty as the two oil wells which the Kelantan government claimed belonged to it, were located more than three nautical miles off the state’s coastal waters.
The two oil wells are located 150 nautical miles off Kelantan waters and the Federal Government had agreed to pay a RM20mil compassionate fund to the people of Kelantan, which represented the first payment of 5% of the revenue from the two oil wells since 2008.
Husam said Tengku Razaleigh’s appointment did not involve any payment from the state government.
Asked whether the Umno veteran leader accepted the appointment, Husam, who is also the State Assemblyman for Salor, said the appointment was based on Tengku Razaleigh’s agreement to be the mediator in resolving the oil royalty issue which had been dragging on between the state and federal governments. -- Bernama
tunku : till now kuli has not accepted the appointment.as an umno leader he should not accept the appoinment made by the opposition party /pas led government.if he aceept it then he should quit Umno.hope kuli knows what to do.

ALTANTUYA : Another conspiracy by Anwar exposed.
Parliament: I was told to link PM and wife to Altantuya murder, says Zul Noordin
KUALA LUMPUR: Zulkifli Noordin (Independent-Kulim-Bandar Baru) dropped a bombshell in the Dewan Rakyat Wednesday when he claimed he was once asked to help link the murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.
The lawyer, who was recently sacked from PKR, didn’t say who had asked him to do so.
Zulkifli, who had discharged himself as a defence lawyer for one of those accused of the murder -- Chief Insp Azilah Hadri -- during the hearing in 2007, said he was asked to make a statutory declaration linking Najib and Rosmah to the Mongolian woman’s murder. “I myself was asked to make a sworn statement that both of them were involved. “The rewards offered for doing that could have shaken my faith,” the Islamic hardliner said.
“I discharged myself from the court case because there was an attempt by a third party to interfere in the case,” he said in his motion of thanks on the Agong’s Address.
Zulkifli also took potshots at private investigator P. Balasubramaniam, who had made a sworn disposition in connection with the murder case in 2008, but retracted it the next day. He said the “slanderous statements” that had been made against the Prime Minister had been unending. “How can the two accused be willing to be sentenced to death if it was true that both the Prime Minister and his wife were involved in the murder? “I’m sure they would have revealed it if this was true. “The Prime Minister had sworn on the Quran denying his involvement with Altantuya,” he said.
Zulkifli also claimed that in 2004, he was asked to link the son of Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz to the murder of a man. “I was asked to ensure that Nazri’s son was connected to the murder case. I thank Allah that I managed to stay away from such things,” he added.
On PKR adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Zulkifli called for the Opposition Leader’s sodomy case to be transferred to the Syariah Court instead of the civil court.
He said the proceedings should be held at the Syariah Court because it can hear offences related to qazaf (criminal defamation).
“Proper justice can be then be carried out,” he added.
Anwar, 63, had claimed trial to sodomising his former personal aide, Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, 25, at the Desa Damansara Condominium in Bukit Damansara between 3.01pm and 4.30pm on June 26, 2008.

PTA can't debate about PPSMI in their meetings.
PTAs should conform to govt decision on PPSMI: Wee
KUALA LUMPUR (March 23, 2010): The parent-teacher associations (PTA) in schools nationwide should just conform to the government's move to abolish the Teaching of Science and Maths in English (PPSMI) and replace it with a new policy, instead of debating it at PTA meetings.
Deputy Education Minister Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong said, as sufficient time was given for the debate on the issue before the move was taken, schools should not argue about it.
"The function of a PTA is to complement what the school has been doing, and their discussions should revolve around how to improve the performance of the school," he told reporters at the Parliament lobby here today.
Wee was responding to a newspaper report today, which said that PTAs were not allowed to discuss matters which opposed the ministry's policies.
Kuala Lumpur Education Department director Mohd Adenan Deraman said the ministry had received information that the PPSMI policy was made part of the agenda of PTA meetings at several schools.
He said action would be taken against the PTA committee if the matter was still discussed.
Wee said PTA meetings were allowed to discuss the ministry's policy as long as it did not oppose it.
"For example, if they want to have a programme to help the students, including extra classes, it could be discussed, and it is even welcomed if they want to forward any of the suggestions to the ministry.
"I don't see any problem when they just talk about the policy. The policy is there. Because of the policy, the school just conducts whatever syllabus (decided) in school," he added. -- Bernama
tunku : what we understand is that PTA is parent teachers association.so why can't the parents debate on something that is for their children? it doesn't mean that when the government says NO, the people can't object.don't repeat the mistakes done by the previous government.the parents have their rights so let them voice out whatever they feel right for their children.it is good that they bring the matter to the meetings rather than going on the roads.LISTEN MUHYIDDIN.

Government Asked To Set Up Royal Commission On Anwar's Actions
KUALA LUMPUR, March 22 (Bernama) -- An independent member of parliament proposed in the Dewan Rakyat that a royal commission be set up to investigate the actions of Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim who is alleged to have threatened public security, or have a White Paper on the matter.
Datuk Ibrahim Ali (Independent-Pasir Mas) said steps had to be taken by the government to correct the perception of the people about Anwar.
He said the people, especially village folk, were deceived when Anwar's sodomy case was plastered all over the country.
"So, it's enough if we compile the actions like that exposed by the Bayan Baru MP about the Sept 16 incident, the Agong's name, the Armed Forces chief's name, being dragged in and later the Apco story that caused disruption this morning and which was denied by the Rembau MP, and later the cassette that used religion elder Yusuf al-Qaradawi and letters and pamphlets signed by the Machang MP," Ibrahim said during the debate on the motion of thanks on the speech by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin,
He said no one was above the law and that Malaysia had a Special Court to try cases involving the Malay rulers.
"As such I call for a royal commission or a white paper to correct the perception that the opposition leader is very clean, great and that only he can save Malaysia and others are not fit to be the prime minister,
"Taking action (against him) is said to be cruel, not taking action and this happens. So its important as to how to correct the perception or views of the people on the disposition and actions of this opposition leader," he said.
Ibrahim also called on the government to investigate the distribution of pamphlets and letters together with a medical report that said Anwar was innocent and was being oppressed with the sodomy case that involved his former personal assistant, Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan.
Besides that, there were cassettes or compact discs that had a fatwa by Yusuf al-Qaradawi which was made in the Qatar residence of the prominent religious personality that wanted Saiful be refered under 'qazaf' according to Syariah law for failing to produce four witnesses in the sodomy charge against Anwar.
Ibrahim suggested that the government take steps to have Saiful meet Yusuf to enable him to get a true picture of the case.
He said Anwar's actions also saw the interference of 50 Australian MPs who called for the charges against Anwar to be dropped.
Ibrahim said he has sent a letter to Australian MP Micheal Danby who is the chairman of the sub-committee for foreign affairs to protest against the interference.
tunku : if this conspiracy is from BN, i am sure the first to shout will be lim kit siang demanding for a royal commission to be set up.we have witnesses in this conspiracy. these facts should be suffice enough to charge anwar under sedition act.even hj hadi admitted on anwar's plan but he said that the MPs named by zahrain are different from his list.that means the moron anwar lied to everyone and gave each of them different names just to fool them. i guess even azizah and the daughters got fooled by him. still remember these words from the moron "we have the numbers and it's increasing by the hours".what a shame and i feel pity for those who believes this moron.

Anwar is too desperate.
Anwar drums up support in London
Anwar Ibrahim's visit to London will draw more support from the British Parliament and also likely coalesce more sympathy for him and international pressure against the Malaysian government.
tunku : why is this moron drawing support from the british parliament for? after seeking help from the jews in usa now he seek sympathy from the british.an innocent man will fear nothing and fight for justice.only guilty man will do such thing.he should draw supports from Malaysian not outsiders.this clearly shows that this moron is so desperate as the court hearing will resume soon.fight like a man moron.all his evil intention are being exposed by his own close associates as they realized now that they have been fooled by him.

Land cleansing in Penang.
Penang looking at ways to increase land bank
GEORGE TOWN: The state government is studying the various proposals that will help enlarge the land bank in the state, Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said.
He said the state government had tried to redress the situation by requiring affordable housing to be built, including both low and low-medium cost, even from statutory government developers such as Penang Regional Development Authority (Perda).
Lim said they had also imposed quotas on those with higher plot ratios and density to ensure that there are sufficient units built in the range of less than RM500,000.
“However that does not address the scarcity of land which can only be redressed by reclamation.
“Therefore, we are getting feedback from various parties on the matter,” he said before opening the three-day (March 19-21) Penang International Property Expo 2010 at the Penang International Sports Arena here Friday.
Lim said the state government was mindful of rising prices and affordable housing, and as part of the corporate social responsibility developers have an obligation to help.
On the Expo, he congratulated the organisers as the gross development value of the project offered this year exceeded RM3.5bil.
“The property expo has set itself a higher sales transaction target of RM90mil this year including sales that will be closed at the event,” he added.
Lim also mentioned that when the state government implemented the CAT (Competency, Accountability and Transparency) governance they implemented the open tender policy.
He said that, with the implementation of the policy, there were lots of criticisms, but in the western countries if there was no open tender system one can be charged for corruption.
“There have been no short-cuts in Penang since we took over, but only clean-cuts,” he added.
There were 56 exhibitors showcasing their best property during the three-day event.
Besides that, lucky draws, public talks and special auction sessions were also held.
A Malaysia My Second Home national dialogue session will be held Saturday and Sunday at 9am.
tunku : we hope that they won't burden the people especially the poors in order to increase their land bank. more land bank means more money can be made either by the state or by the "elites".this is a way to make quick money as the cm has failed to bring more investment to the states.there have been no short-cuts in penang since pakatan took over but only clean cuts for the cm and the cronies.

Anwar seeking Al Gore's assistant.
Eight MPs were set to jump ship: Zahrain
KUALA LUMPUR: Bayan Baru Member of Parliament (MP) Datuk Seri Zahrain Mohamed Hashim today named eight MPs, whom he claimed were ready to jump ship in the opposition's bid to takeover the government on Sept 16, 2008.
They were Datuk Seri Abdul Ghapur Salleh (BN-Kalabakan), Datuk Seri Anifah Aman (BN-Kimanis), Datuk Bung Moktar Radin (BN-Kinabatangan), Datuk Chua Soon Bui (Independent-Tawau), Datuk Eric Majimbun (Independent-Sepanggar), Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi (BN-Batu Pahat), Datuk Seri Tengku Azlan Sultan Abu Bakar (BN-Jerantut) and Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah (BN-Gua Musang).
A Dewan Rakyat deputy speaker was also in the fray, said Zahrain when continuing his speech when debating the royal address in the Dewan Rakyat.
The whole House broke into laughter when Deputy Speaker Datuk Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar interjected, "Which deputy speaker?"
Zahrain claimed that there was a link between online newspaper MalaysiaKini and Raja Petra Kamaruddin (RPK)'s news portal with the opposition and urged the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission to probe into it.
Speaking to reporters at the parliament lobby, Zahrain denied that he was a "BN mercenary soldier" as he had been vocal even before he left Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR).
Meanwhile, PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution hit back at Zahrain by calling him a "BN attack dog".
"Zahrain assumes a new role to denigrate the opposition and his sudden outburst was a marked different from his heydays in the PKR.
"He hardly took part in parliamentary debate for the past two years but all of a sudden he became very vocal.
"When these MPs jumped ship, they were turned into ''attack dogs''. They had prepared text with them and brought up issues which they thought were crucial," added Saifuddin.
Responding to the label "attack dog", Zahrain, "It was unbecoming of him to give me such label. Anyway, it will not stop me. Do respect me as an MP." – Bernama
tunku : when they were trailing the BN Mps to jump ship everything was ok then, the act of jumping ship were act of divine , even nik aziz blessed it.things changed when their people started to jump ship.these people are labeled traitors, frogs, dogs, pigs etc by them. wonder why anwar suddenly went to oversea to meet al gore...may be getting some plans/instructions to start new propaganda and funds for their activities. he accuses others but it is actually everything that he has been doing and still doing it till today and he will never stop doing dirty things.anwar and his "attack dog" can't even answer to zahrain revelations, they just use one word for their alibi that is UMNO. everything umno did that, umno did this, umno prepare the text, umno paid them, umno etc.it is very cheap way to get away from their wrongdoings.shame on these people and pity those who support these morons.

Anwar chicken out from Dewan Rakyat
Anwar Walks Out In Protest Of Zahrain's Speech
KUALA LUMPUR, March 17 (Bernama) -- Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim walked out of the Dewan Rakyat in protest of the maiden speech of Bayan Baru Member of Parliament (MP) Datuk Seri Mohd Zahrain Hashim as an Independent member.
Seeking leave not to be associated to Zahrain's remarks, Anwar left the House as Zahrain cast aspersion on his (Anwar's) leadership.
Much to the chagrin of the opposition, Zahrain, who was former Penang Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) chairman, said he left the party as Anwar failed to overthrow the government through crossover of Barisan Nasional (BN) MPs by Sept 16, 2008 as promised.
PKR members were led into believing by Anwar that he had the number to form the government, said Zahrain, adding that they were told that the Yang di-Pertuan Agong was ready to give assent to the opposition to form the government.
"Even the Yang di-Pertuan Agong was said to have given his blessing to the Permatang Pauh MP as the sixth prime minister," said Zahrain when debating on the royal address at the Dewan Rakyat on Wednesday.
A shouting match ensued between Zahrain and opposition members while several BN MPs joined the fray. Padang Serai MP N.Gobalakrisnan called on Zahrain to withdraw the statement.
Deputy Speaker Datuk Ronald Kiandee pointed out a standing order that the attributes of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the Malay rulers, Yang Dipertua Negeri, judges or commissions could not be mentioned unless a motion was tabled.
Zahrain said PKR members were also led into believing that the chief of the armed forces had supported the opposition takeover of the government.
Tian Chua (PKR-Batu) interjected by asking why Zahrain blurted out his dissatisfaction only two years after Penang was ruled by the opposition while he himself received a "Datuk Seri" award from the state government.
Zahrain said the state award was accorded by the Penang Yang Dipertua Negeri while he raised issues concerning the state government's failure in upholding Islam, tithe collection and the Maulidul Rasul procession.
Criticising Anwar for changing his stand when pursuing the Malay and Islamic causes, Zahrain said he lost his confidence in Anwar's leadership as he kowtowed to the DAP.
The sitting continues tomorrow.
tunku : i just don't believe when i saw the moron chicken out.he can't even challenge what zahrain said about him.well it was because zahrain told the truth to the dewan.all he can do is to chicken out so that zahrain will not be able to reveal more about the moron.he talk big at ceramah, i will voice out in parliament etc but till today the moron has yet to make an impact at the parliament and the incident above shows that he is just a ...........bloody liar. well done zahrain. keep revealing the truth to the people about the moron.

Missing Boy Reunited With Parents
KUALA LUMPUR, March 16 (Bernama) -- A six-year-old boy who was reported missing while playing at the playground of Sri Kota Flats, Cheras, on Saturday was reunited with his parents on Tuesday.
Kuala Lumpur criminal investigation department chief Datuk Ku Chin Wah said the boy had gone to the playground but lost his way when he tried return home.
"A man and woman tried to help but were unable to send the boy home as he could not remember the way back. They left him at a mosque where he was found by a friend of the boy's father," he said.
The man later sent the boy to his house but there was no one there at that time. He then took the boy home.
The boy was left with his grandmother on the day of the incident as his parents were working.
Grandmother Salmiah Osman, 56, said she was happy that her grandson was found safe.
tunku : some of the parents can be so irresponsible.the case above shows clearly that the boy was left alone to roam around in the neighbourhood.they still haven't learn the lesson from the previous cases like the case of nurin jazlin, sharlinie etc.we hope that the authorities will take action some action or give stern warning to the parents of this boy.a six year old boy should not play at the playground without supervision.

Anwar accuses Agong reading the text prepared by Najib.
Opposition walks out on the House in IGP motion.
KUALA LUMPUR: Opposition members staged a walkout en bloc when the Chair refused to allow debate on a motion asking the Inspector-General of Police to ensure that the road leading to the Parliament house be kept free of obstruction and traffic.
The motion is always tabled at the start of every Parliament session by the Government to ensure that Members of Parliament have access to the building.
The Opposition had wanted to use the motion as a platform to debate issues relating to the police force transition plan involving the IGP and other senior officers, as announced by Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein on Monday.
Deputy Speaker Datuk Ronald Kiandee disallowed the call for debate by the Opposition.
tunku : these morons don't understand that the transition plan of the IGP and top senior officers is the prerogative of the PM. it is up to him to appoint who he feel suits the position. the opposition is just wasting the valuable parliament session precious time to discuss something that is not in their jurisdiction.yesterday YDP Agong had advice these morons to behave and today they don't remember about the advice of the YDP.
anwar the moron said in his facebook that the YDP Agong read the text which was prepared by the pm.this is an insult to the YDP Agong. if YDP Agong thinks that what is written is not right he won't agree to read it out. the text gets his consent/approval before he read it out in the parliament. this moron anwar thinks that the YDP Agong doesn't know anything.this is a serious insult to the intelligence of the YDP Agong.

Police: Penang a gay sex services hub
PETALING JAYA: Penang is becoming a hub for commercial gay sex services and the local councils seem to encourage it, police claim.
Penang police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Wira Ayub Yaakub said police had raided health and fitness centres that were being used as a front for gay sex services over the past couple of years.
“Although we have forwarded our recommendations to the local councils not to renew the operators’ permits, we find the centres still in operation,” he said. “Because of the local authorities’ inaction, the operators have become big-headed, acting as if they are above the law,” said DCP Ayub in an interview.
For instance, he said police raided a health club in Pulau Tikus about a month ago, but business was still continuing.
“In fact, all the premises that we have raided are still carrying on with their businesses,” he said, adding that police had identified at least five health clubs catering to gay activities in Fettes Park, Pulau Tikus, Bagan Jermal and Seberang Jaya.
“We should not allow such unhealthy culture to thrive here,” he said. DCP Ayub chided critics who claimed that such raids would hamper tourism.
Penang municipal councillor Tay Leong Seng said he would ask council officers for an explanation before making any comment.

MCA: Where it is heading?
Dr Chua Surprised With Sudden Emergence Of Former President In Presidential Race
MUAR, March 14 (Bernama) -- Former MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek expressed surprise over the sudden emergence of former MCA President Tan Sri Ong Ka Ting, in the Presidential race, scheduled for March 28.
Dr Chua said it was against Ka Ting's stand that he did not want to be involved in party matters anymore when announcing his decision to quit politics.
"In fact as the former party president, he had remained silent when the party was going through a serious crisis," he told reporters after meeting 400 community leaders in Jalan Bakri here Sunday.
As the immediate past President, Ka Ting should have come forward to assist when the party was facing problems right from the start but strangely, he has suddenly come forward to claim that he was ready to help, he said.
"This will further split the party," he said.
However, just like incumbent MCA President Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat, party members and Ka Ting have their rights to contest for the presidency, he said.
tunku : it is not surprising that some MCA members wants ong ka ting to return as he still has his supporters.the question here will MCA return back to its glory days with ka ting as the president? the answer is absolutely no.even with ong tee kiat, chua soi lek, liow tiong lai MCA will not close ranks.it will still be divided unless the leaders mentioned can sit down and think for the party interest before theirs. they will still be factions in MCA.the top leaders should sacrifice for the sake of the party and might need third party solution to patch things up in MCA. if not MCA will never come back strong.they will remain weak and will be the spoiler for the BN.

Class F bumiputra contractors got 100% of projects: Lim
GEORGE TOWN: Under the state government’s open tender system, Penang Class F bumiputra contractors have secured 100% of the projects carried out by the state Public Works (PWD) and the Drainage and Irrigation (DID) departments.
Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said the statistics provided by both departments showed that the state government did not discriminate based on race or religion but awarded the projects to capable contractors.
“The projects were awarded based on the contractors’ abilities and not any political cable-pulling. A total of 134 contractors in this category were awarded more than RM9mil worth of projects by the DID last year.
“As for the PWD, 149 bumiputra contractors secured projects worth RM8mil,” he told reporters before a closed-door meeting with several members of the Penang Class F bumiputra contractors association at his office in Komtar Friday.
Among those present were association chairman Tahir Jalaluddin Hussain and vice-chairman Zainul Abdul Malik Eusoff, Deputy Chief Minister 1 Mansor Othman and state executive councillor Abdul Malik Abul Kassim.
Tahir said the meeting was strictly based on business and had nothing to do with any political views, adding that he would discuss with Lim the problems faced by their members.
tunku : so what's the big deal here? class F contractors are only for bumis. obviously they will get the projects under class F. i don't get what guan eng is trying to say here???
Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said the statistics provided by both departments showed that the state government did not discriminate based on race or religion but awarded the projects to capable contractors.

SAPP Not Part Of Independent Block In Parliment, Says Yong
KOTA KINABALU, March 11 (Bernama) -- The Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) will not join the so-called independent block of parlimentarians who left Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) recently.
Its president, Datuk Yong Teck Lee, said that as such, SAPP's two members of Parliment Datuk Eric Majimbun and Datuk Dr Chua Soon Bui were not individual independents.
"They are from SAPP representing Sabah interests. However, SAPP will participate in non-BN bodies that promote Sabah's interests.
"On this basis, SAPP's two MPs are part of the Parliamentary Caucus on petroleum led by Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah because this directly affects Sabah's interests," he said in a statement here on Thursday.
In rebutting comments by Pasir Mas Datuk Ibrahim Ali in a news portal, Malaysiakini, and other media yesterday suggesting that SAPP's two MPs were part of his "independent block", Yong said:
"Our stance remains that we left the BN government in 2008 because we have lost confidence on the BN resolving Sabah's problems which have since got worse by the day.
"This is why SAPP is cooperating with the opposition Pakatan Rakyat in Parliament to topple this BN administration.
"Any lies by some politicians in Kota Kinabalu, Sipitang and Sandakan and on the Internet in recent days that SAPP is returning to BN are desperate attempts to weaken SAPP's struggle for Sabah," he said.
tunku : it is best that sapp be with pakatan rakyat.the bn should not accept sapp anymore in the future.sabahan don't need party like sapp as this party is out there to divide the people and poison the mind of sabahan.we challenge yong teck lee to dissolve sapp and join pkr.i am sure he won't as he want to be the "president" of a party than just a ordinary leader of a party.he has never put the interest of the people ahead of his own personal interest.

Rehda Wants Government To Reconsider Compulsory Broadband Facilities
KUALA LUMPUR, March 9 (Bernama) -- The Real Estate and Housing Developers Association Malaysia (Rehda) wants the government to reconsider the provision of making it compulsory to install broadband facilities at new commercial and residential areas as it would incur more costs to the developers.
Rehda president Datuk Ng Seing Liong, while applauding the government's efforts to boost broadband usage in the country, said however, the service would involve a large sum of capital.
He said, this was because developers needed to come up with an agreement with the internet service provider (ISP) companies.
"While the ISP companies will be able to reap profits via the subscription, developers on the other hand, will have to fork out extra cost to provide the facility," he said in a statement on Tuesday.
On top of that, he said, not all house buyers would subscribe to the broadband service, especially in the rural and small town areas.
Ng said Rehda hoped the government would understand the industry's predicament as the compulsory provision meant extra cost to developers who were already burdened with other utility contributions.
He said there could be alternative measures or rewards to encourage house buyers to subscribe to the broadband service, instead of pushing the task to developers.
In view of limited provision of telecommunication facilities, Ng said, the responsibility should be undertaken by the ISP as they had proper facilities.
He felt the government should undertake a cost-benefit study on the system before it was made mandatory and at the same time, try to find a solution that would benefit all parties, without solely burdening developers.
Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin recently said that efforts were being made to amend the Uniform Building By-Laws 1984, to make the broadband infrastructure a compulsory service.
tunku : broadband facilities nowadays are very important especially for new develop area as it is lack of basic utilities such as the telecommunications.i think rehda is right, it is not right for the government to make the developer to bear the cost for installing broadband facilities.the developers for sure will put the cost to their house buyers. by right the isp providers should bear the cost as they will benefit and make profit out of it.may be the government can give them some incentives for providing such facilities.that will be the right thing to do.

Human Rights Party Urges Pakatan Leaders To Solve Problems Of Indian Poor
KUALA LUMPUR, March 7 (Bernama) -- Pakatan coalition leaders have failed to fulfill their promises during the last general election in solving problems faced by the Indian poor in this country, said Human Rights Party (HRP) Pro-Tem Secretary-General P. Uthayakumar.
He said after two years the Pakatan coalition became the government in four states, they still had not understood the real aspirations of the Indian poor.
"We had great hopes in the opposition parties when we urged the Malaysian Indians to vote overwhelmingly for the Pakatan coalition in the last general election.
"We attribute this to leadership without vision. You (Pakatan leaders) cannot understand the aspirations of the people who voted you in. You played the traditional political game of illusions and promises," he said in a letter to Parti Keadilan Rakyat advisor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Azizan Abdul Razak and Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.
Uthayakumar said although the leaders had complete authority over state land matters, which awas the most pressing issue to Indian poor, yet till today, they had completely ignored this issue in Penang, Kedah and Selangor.
A copy of the letter was e-mailed to Bernama here Sunday.

There's no capable leaders in Pakatan.
PAS - Anwar can remain as opposition leader
KUALA LUMPUR: PAS has come out in support of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as opposition leader despite the resignation of three Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) members of parliament recently.
"The three parties that form Pakatan Rakyat (PR) will continue to give full support to Anwar," PAS secretary-general Datuk Mustafa Ali told a press conference here Saturday.
He said the government and Dewan Rakyat Speaker had no right to decide on who the opposition leader was to be as that was determined by the opposition members.
The issue followed the resignations of PKR MPs Datuk Seri Zahrain Mohamed Hashim (Bayan Baru), Tan Tee Beng (Nibong Tebal) and Mohsin Fadzil Samsuri (Bagan Serai) to become independents.
Mustafa said the resignations did not affect cooperation of the three opposition parties adding PR would celebrate two years of rule in Penang starting Saturday night. - Bernama
tunku : for pakatan it's only anwar the moron. hadi awang, lim kit siang and others have no value and credibility to be the opposition leader. pas and dap has no capable leaders that could replace the moron.how can rakyat bank on these people to be the government? these people cant even take charge or take the lead.they are just banking on a liar to get supports from the people.

Melodrama Queen admits PKR in big trouble.
PKR Is Facing A Problem - Anwar
MELAKA, March 6 (Bernama) -- Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim admitted that the party is facing a problem after three members of parliament (MP) quit recently.
He said the resignations served a good lesson so that only loyal members were chosen as candidates in future elections.
"PAS had the same problem when its president quit while the late Tunku Abdul Rahman also quit Umno. Keadilan is now facing a little problem," he said at a political rally at Pulau Gadong Friday night.
PKR MPs Datuk Seri Zahrain Mohamed Hashim (Bayan Baru), Tan Tee Beng (Nibong Tebal) and Mohsin Fadzil Samsuri (Bagan Serai) recently quit the party.
"We clean the party of such people. It is better for them to leave now than later," Anwar said.
He added PKR elected representatives and leaders would be given courses to make them strong to face challenges and remain loyal to the party.
tunku : the moron tried to compare his party situation now with Tunku Abdul Rahman's situation.he's just simply mad and moron.the situation is totally different.pkr is rotting and very soon more will leave the party. the opposition is becoming weaker and weaker because of what's happening in pkr.it's high time for pas to take control of the opposition pact if they wish to make impact in next GE. anwar is just counting the days now as he somewhat knows where he will be landing sooner or later.that is why now they are having discussion on who will be taking over the party after anwar.if he's confident enough(not guilty), they won't be discussing this issue.

Zaid ibrahim out of his mind again.
tunku : pakatan rakyat coordinator zaid ibrahim has urged the premier to stop 'poaching' pkr MPs and urged him to respect democracy.when he joined pkr, no want stop him because of democracy.now when others jumped out of pkr they asked them to respect the democracy.so double standard of the pakatan people. when anwar first announced his 16th september plan, nik aziz said it was ok for the mps to jump ship and join pakatan and all the leaders were so excited about it but when thing happens the other way round he said it's wrong.zaid ibrahim is so stupid that he urged pm to stop poaching pkr mps as those who jumped the pkr's ship did not join bn, they are independence representatives now.use your brain zaid. it shows that pkr's mps has no morale and value.by the way how much did anwar pay you zaid?

Tiered fuel plan officially scrapped, no increase for now
PUTRAJAYA: The Government has officially scrapped its plan to restructure the fuel subsidy scheme based on the engine capacity of vehicles, Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced on Thursday.
He also said there would be no price increase for now.
The plan, originally set to be implemented on May 1, was to introduce a tiered pricing system for petrol, depending on engine capacity, while foreigners would have to pay the market price.
It called for the mandatory use of MyKad to differentiate Malaysians from foreigners, requiring the need for MyKad readers at petrol stations.
Subsidised petrol would be capped to a certain amount of litres a month per user for owners of vehicles with engine capacities of below a certain threshold. The reported upper limit eligibility for the petrol subsidy is 2,000cc. Owners of cars with bigger engine capacities would be exempted from the subsidy.
However, many had considered the proposed scheme to be very unfavourable and cumbersome to enforce and some have suggested that the subsidy itself should be removed.
tunku : thank you government.you made the right decision.before making any decision, please ask the opinion of the people and look at ground situation.

BN Must Work Extra Hard To Emerge Stronger Says Tun Abdullah
PUTRAJAYA, March 3 (Bernama) -- Barisan Nasional (BN) cannot expect the party to become automatically stronger just because cracks have appeared in the opposition, especially Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), when members quit the party said former Prime Minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
Abdullah said BN, including Umno, must instead work hard to ensure the party becomes stronger and able to bring about development to serve the people better.
"BN must not regard what is currently happening in the opposition parties can automatically make BN stronger. If we considered the party can become stronger when the opposition is facing problems, that hope will soon diminish.
"What is important is to work hard and fulfill the expectations of the people, including reformation in the party as promised," he told reporters after opening a restaurant here Wednesday.
PKR lost another Member of Parliament (MP) today when Bagan Serai MP, Mohsin Fadzli Samsuri, announced he had quit the party with immediate effect to become an independent MP, the fourth opposition representative to quit within a month.
His resignation comes on the heels of Bayan Baru MP Datuk Seri Zahrain Mohamed Hashim, former Penang Deputy Chief Minister I Mohammad Fairus Khairuddin and Nibong Tebal MP Tan Tee Beng who left PKR recently.
Abdullah did not discard the possibility of BN regaining a two-third majority in Parliament due to the recent trend of PKR MPs quitting the party, since the party was in 'bad shape' due to the exodus.
"Previously, they (opposition) had been crooning that BN will fall and the opposition will come into power on Sept 16 but it looks like it is PKR who are falling apart.. This is the current situation," he said.
Abdullah said whatever changes that takes place in the political scene, the most important aspect was to maintain internal security of the country and develop the economy.
"In democracy, there will be all kinds of events related to political parties but the economy of the country must not suffer.
"Even now, despite the current situation, the economic situation of the country has improved. If the situation continues, the people will be able to enjoy better living standards.
"But if the political 'game' goes overboard and affect the economy of the country, the people will certainly not benefit and soon regret," he said.
tunku : thanks to you pak lah, you have made life difficult for bn. you have made the opposition became stronger during your tenure as pm and made it difficult for everyone else to clear all the dirt you left behind.thanks to Najib who's doing good job right now.the only dirt remain to be cleaned is your son in-law who is still a liablity for Umno.

DAP has equal seats with PKR at Dewan Rakyat
Bagan Serai MP quits PKR
KUALA LUMPUR: Bagan Serai MP Mohsin Fadzli Samsuri quit PKR on Wednesday to become an independent.
tunku : now dap has equal seats with pkr at Dewan Rakyat and may overcome them as there are more Mps from pkr which will resign from the party.dap and pas has stated that they will support anwar as the opposition leader even though pkr has less seats than them. this shows that dap and pas doesn't have the confidence and capability to lead.it's members should be ashamed of their party.they should leave the party which fails them.

Proton Latest Car - Proton Emas
Proton's Emas global car is expected to be in production by 2012GENEVA: Proton’s first global car Emas is expecte
GENEVA: Proton’s first global car Emas is expected to be in production by 2012.
The concept version of the car, shown in three variants, was launched at the Geneva International Motor Show on Tuesday by Proton adviser Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
“This is Proton’s 25th year and we want to tell the world that Proton is now ready to be a global player, that is the message we want to convey,” he said, adding that Proton was willing to invest in strategic partnerships to drive this new direction for the company.
“I’ve told the Proton people that I’d like to see the car out in a year, but they tell me they need more time,” Dr Mahathir said.
He said the project represented a giant technological leap for Proton, which previously focused mainly on the local market.
Proton group managing director Datuk Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir, who was also present for the launch, said they would need between 17 and 24 months to get the car into production.
“We are thankful and humbled that this is happening as we celebrate our 25 years of existence in the industry.
“We will certainly make use of this opportunity to reach out and build our brand further into the global market,” he added.
Emas, an acronym for Eco Mobility Advance Solution, was designed in collaboration with acclaimed Italian design house Italdesign Guigiaro.
“This is a car for today, with a design for tomorrow,” said Italdesign Giugiaro co-chairman Fabrizio Giugiaro at the launch.
“We don’t want to call it a concept car, rather, this is a new concept for a car,” he added.
The three variants shown was the five-door/four-seater Emas, three-door/four-seater Emas3 and Emas Country, a crossover hatchback that will seat five.
The car is also ready to accommodate any of three power trains - all-electric, hybrid and petrol or diesel - based on technology designed by Lotus Engineering.
Also present at the launch was Proton chairman Datuk Mohd Nadzmi Mohd Salleh and Dr Mahathir’s wife Tun Dr Siti Hasmah.
tunku : we are so proud of proton's achievements.there was setback with proton under azlan hashim but after he's out proton is going into the right path again and making tremendous progress under datuk nadzmi and datuk syed zainal.thank you Tun Dr Mahathir for your great idea and making proton a great malaysian brand.
DCM post given out of pity by Pakatan Rakyat.
‘PKR glad to see Fairus go’
PETALING JAYA: PKR is glad that former Penang Deputy Chief Minister (DCM) Fairus Khairuddin has left the party, said deputy president Dr Syed Husin Ali.
“Since he participated in the Penang government and his departure from then until now, he has always been a liability,” Dr Syed Husin said in a statement Monday.
He said Fairus was forced to step down as DCM because he was being investigated by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission and for under-performing in the state government.
Dr Syed Husin also alleged that Fairus had demanded a RM15,000 monthly salary and that the party clear all debts on his two luxury cars.
“There was no reason to concede to these demands. Furthermore, the party does not have the means to do so,” he said.
He also claimed that the DCM’s “job” was given to Fairus out of pity for his wife and children.
Fairus resigned from PKR and joined Umno on Sunday, citing loss of faith in PKR’s leadership. Prior to that, he had also stepped down as Penanti assemblyman, losing his DCM post.
tunku : no wonder lots of people lost faith in pkr . they simply gives jobs out of pity.DCM such an important position but they simply gives the job out of pity.is this the party that can lead this country to a greater level? sorry to say but only fools are supporting this type of party and believe in it. syed husin says fairus was a liability but when he resigned as adun , he was asked to campaign for mansur and suddenly he is a liability now. it's normal though, we understand the frustration pkr is going through lately.

KOTA BARU: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has given an assurance that there will be no exception in the corruption probe on Kelantan Mentri Besar Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat involving the sponsorship for pilgrimage and the irregularities claimed to have occurred in the Kelantan Mentri Besar Incorporated (PMBK).
MACC Deputy Chief Commissioner (Prevention) Datuk Zakaria Jaffar said no one could be considered as an "exception" in such a case as this, including the Menteri Besar and the investigation would be carried out according to the law.
"Our investigation is standard and the MACC probe is not tied to anyone," he told reporters after the handover of duties between the Kelantan MACC Director, Mohd Jaafar Hussin and the MACC Academy Deputy Director, Nasaruddin Mohd Nor, here Sunday.
He said this when commenting on the move by the Kelantan Umno Youth movement in lodging a report to the MACC in Putrajaya earlier concerning a blog which carried an article entitled "SPRM Kelantan Pro-Pas: Siasatan Kes Nik Aziz Terbengkalai" (Kelantan MACC Pro-Pas: Investigation into Nik Aziz's Case Abandoned).
Kelantan Umno Youth chief Anuar Sapian said the movement had lodged the report as it wanted the MACC to investigate the allegation because the MACC was an independent body.
On Saturday, the Director of the MACC Corporate Communications Division, Datuk Ahmad Khusairi Yahya said the Kelantan MACC had completed its investigation into the case on the alleged corruption by Nik Abdul Aziz and the investigation papers had been submitted to the public prosecutor for further action.
Zakaria said the provision of the law was clear and transparent regardless of the personality involved and action would be taken based on the facts of the case investigated by the MACC.
He said the MACC was now waiting for the decision of the public prosecutor whether to prosecute or otherwise. - Bernama
tunku : if it was not nik aziz nik mat the person has been charged by now i guess. i wonder why there is hesitation in nik aziz's case? is he above the law or a man that can't be doing wrongdoings? we want the macc to speed up their probe as this is high profile case and the people are waiting for justice to be done.
