By-election: Ezam willing to take on Anwar

Former PKR Youth chief Ezam Mohd Nor is prepared to contest against his former mentor Anwar Ibrahim if a by-election is called for the Kulim-Bandar Baru parliamentary seat.
However, Ezam conceded that his chances of winning as a Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate would be slim given the "political and economical" factors in the country at the moment.
"I will be the underdog but what is important is that I have the courage to fight him till the end," he said.
Ezam had served as Anwar’s political secretary when the PKR de facto leader was deputy prime minister prior to his unceremonious sacking in 1998.
He was also a staunch supporter of the opposition stalwart but left PKR last year and since then has been on the offensive against Anwar.
Ezam joined Umno two months ago.

tunku : what is ezam's motive here.just to make sure his former boss wins or hoping to be a mp and get position in the government asap ? if you really wants to help , you don't have to stand against anwar, you can just campaign for the candidate who will stand against anwar(if there is contest).ezam just joined umno 2 months ago and now want to stand for by election.

ezam,he dont necessarily have to compete for position if he wants to "fight until the end".why not just supports the candidate that will go against Anwar?.only 2 months old in BN and now wants to go for wakil rakyat?give another deserving candidate their chance.

One way for Ezam to be "someone" in UMNO / BN after UMNO gave a condition that he cannot stand for elections for any UMNO positions.

nah..cakap only. he knows himself that he's got no prospect of taking up a giant like Anwar if he really contest. I'd say if his intention is really genuine, do more of the revelation that he did like that of the Pakatan Gov in Selangor solicilating money for their celebration of 100 days in office. And try to minimize that fanfare abit, it's actually counter productive.

Hmmm..a 2-month old guy from the BN government making chaos to DSAI. Its a good thing government accepted him, but promised Ezam with money and position of course.

Ezam eventually will retard the influence of the US puppet for the time being. However, his jump to the UMNO party, is yet to be suspicious.

I don't agree and will never ever agree with Ezam's so called 'willing' to contest.

But then, if he work very hard either in Kulim or Bandar Razak to make sure NO WIN for Anwar, he can contest in PRU-13.

And if he can't help BN to topple Anwar, DON'T DREAM at all, my bro!

Mungkin dia ni betul2 berazam nak melawan Anwar kerana dia kenal siapa Anwar sebenar. Dia tahu perkara2 yang buruk yang berlaku dibelakang(eh2 silap pulak, terguna perkataan sensitif).
