Since Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi resigned from our nation
political scene in 2009 the word ‘flip flop’ is closely related to him.
But now, there are no more stories about our ‘beloved’ Pak Lah.
Pak Lah was known as the ‘Flip Flop’ icon because he keeps changing important decision during the era of his reign.
Now, times have changed. Pak Lah is no longer the flip flop icon; the title should be conferred to the most notorious ex-Sungai Buloh prisoner, Anwar Ibrahim. Ironically, Anwar Ibrahim the only opposition leader in the world suggested that Pak Lah should stay as the Prime Minister thus trying to prevent Datuk Seri Najib Bin Tun Abdul Razak (our current PM) from taking over the seat.
What about some proof you might say? Well, recent events show that Anwar’s decision to boycott the first parliamentary seating in 2013. The decision was later denied by Deputy PKR President, Azmin Ali and other Pakatan Rakyat leaders. Looking at the current development, many elected parliamentary members from the Pakatan Rakyat disagree with Anwar. To salvage what’s left of his so called integrity; Anwar will organize a press conference, and say that he will attend the parliamentary meeting. He will say that he did it because the Pakatan Rakyat respects the DYMM Yang Dipertuan Agong.
Even though we know Anwar is playing his typical drama, the statement he made does not want Anwar to be portrayed in a bad light. They will find ways to defend Anwar.
If we look closely Pak Lah and Anwar Ibrahim are just two peas in a pod. They are not fit to even lead a group of boy scouts, not to mention to have them as the leader of your nation.
If Anwar Ibrahim becomes the Prime Minister, more flip flop decision on the way for us Malaysians. Anwar have to follow the demand of the people, if he does not want his past stories to be dug by his ever expanding political enemies.
People like Karpal Singh, Azmin Ali and many of his Pakatan Rakyat comrades are eyeing him. His every move will be criticized.
We hope that, all of the opposition supporters act rationally and give more than a one over assessment to any of the issue brought by both sides. Just because your leader is Anwar Ibrahim, you close your mental faculty; follow each and every words of Anwar Ibrahim without thinking.
Open your eyes open your heart and listen to reason.
