Putrajaya: Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Ismail Sabri Yaakob had asked Datuk Mokhzani Mahathir to resign as Sepang International Circuit (SIC) chairman,citing the post as a government appointment."The post belongs to the government.As he (mokhzani) had left Umno, in principle, he has to relinquish the position,"said Ismail Sabri, citing SIC as a subsidiary of Malaysia Airport Holdings Berhad (MAHB) which is controlled by the government through Khazanah Holdings.
Ismail Sabri yesterday boycotted the launching ceremony of the Malaysia International Super GT held at the ministry.
By co-incidence, he chaired a post-cabinet meeting of his ministry in the same building.
Asked why he did not attend the ceremony,he said, "In principle when he (Mokhzani) left Umno because no longer has faith in the prime minister's leadership, he is also not confident of me as a minister appointed by the prime minister.
tunku : may be ismail sabri wants his son Dafi(akademi fantasia) to be the new SIC chairman. this means those who are not umno members can hold any position in government or any related government agencies etc. what a 'stupid cow' this minister is. what umno had to do with SIC chairman? if mokhzani joins opposition then i can understand the called made by this 'stupid cow' minisiter proxy of khairy jamaludin. the best part he boycotted the meeting which Mokhzani attended. he can attend function that opposition attends but not a partyless guy who attends it. that show the mentality of this minister. you are right ismail sabri, not only Mokhzani had lost confidence in pm and most of his ministers(especially the type like you) but we the public had lost in the HP6 kitchen cabinet of abdullah badawi.

I just wonder who is this Ismail Sabri for sure anyway. His level of intellectual is far par from his status as a Cabinet Minister for Malaysian Government. His talks is outdated and way behind of our civilized Malaysia.
Let put the diferences of idealogy aside. Regardless they are both still Malaysian. Both Ismail Sabri and Mokhzani still subscribe to our Malaysia Constitution. He should not going out of rampage to slash anyone that had denounced UMNO.
We will never achieved our 30% target for Bumiputra participation ini economic sector if Ismail Sabri subscribe to this outdated mentality.
I remember Tengku Razaleigh, Musa Hitam, Anvar, Tun, and now Abdullah they all had killed the bumiputra enterpreneaur either directly or indirectly due to these bussinessman affliation to these leaders. At the end the real loser is the bumiputra itself being sacrifice direct or indirectly due to different of opinions.
Wake up Ismail Sabri. Forget about touching the same approach to another fellow Bumiputra and Malaysian like Mokhzani or his alike.
It is about time for all of our Minister to be really thinking ahead of time to ensure our victory coming this PRU13. So far i do not see any improvement in mentallity approach after PRU12. These Ministers would make more difficult for Pak Lah to stay put.
There is no end to the asinine statements coming out of Dollah Badawi's Ministers. It seems that stupidity is contagious in the Cabinet.
Can't you people differentiate between party and government. SIC is international and meant to promote the country, not Dollah Badawi.
The petty and spiteful utterances only reflect the density of retardation of,and the depth of hatred reserved for Dr. Mahathir and everyone connected to him by Dollah Badawi's Ministers.
The question is, do the people share their sentiments ?
