PM's anti-graft agenda won Ezam overThe government's post-March 8 anti-corruption agenda was the main attraction for former PKR leader Ezam Mohd Nor to rejoin the party that once expelled him for being overly critical.
The former PKR Youth chief reiterated at a press conference held at Shah Village Hotel in Petaling Jaya today that he did not rejoin Umno because he was offered any position as speculated.
"When Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi announced that the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) will go through thorough reform, I sense that he is committed in changing things," explained Ezam, who was former head of Gerak, an anti-graft watchdog.
He added that only through rejoining Umno and BN can he pursue his struggle to eradicate corruption and said that he saw "no other formula can realise this quest".
Joining him will be seven other former PKR youth chiefs.
They are Annuar Shaari (former PKR Youth chief for Permatang Pauh and private secretary to party de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim), SD Johari Mohd Yasin (former Selangor PKR Youth chief), Mohd Nazmi Rosli (former Selangor PKR Youth secretary), Ahmad Daud Che Ghani (former PKR Perlis Youth chief), Azwan Din Hamzah (former PKR Youth executive council member), Khairul Annuar Ramli (former PKR Kedah Youth chief) and Abdul Ghani Haron (former PKR Youth executive councillor member).
Annuar is expected to submit his membership form to Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak this afternoon in Parliament.
Ezam rejoined Umno yesterday after submitting his membership form to Abdullah.
tunku : all this are melodrama, because the pm announced that he will reform ACA thoroughly , ezam feels that he should join Umno.Now he will bring in as he did as a starts with 5-6 ex pkr leaders back to umno and when the time comes the bigg boss, anwar will join too in the name of malay unity.umno is heading to its downfalls with accepting traitors back to the party.anwar's man are diverted in pas earlier and now they are entering umno.one day he'll hold both umno and pas.just watch this evil's game.

Seseorang ahli yang bertanding sebagai calon Bebas atau parti lawan dalam pilihan raya akan dipecat daripada parti dan tidak boleh diterima balik sebagai ahli selama-lamanya.
Mengikut rekod bekas Ketua Angkatan Muda Keadilan itu telah bertanding pada pilihan raya umum 1999 dan sekaligus membuktikan beliau tidak layak untuk menyertai UMNO kerana ianya telah melanggar perlembagaan UMNO yang dibuat pada tahun 2002 itu. Khas untuk ahli UMNO baru sahaja.
Kenapa ya ahli UMNO yang mengkritik Presiden UMNO nak di kenakan tindakan disiplin dan di halang dari menyuarakan pendapat untuk menyelamatkan UMNO dan rakyat Melayu di Malaysia...KENAPA?
Kenapa pulak orang yang pernah memaki hamun ahli UMNO dalam karier politik semasa bersama PKR hendak di bawa masuk ke dalam UMNO. Mana logik nya..KENAPA?..Orang yang banyak menyusahkan orang melayu dengan perhimpunan haram dll hendak di terima..KENAPA?..Orang yang hendak menghapuskan DEB hendak di terima..KENAPA?...Sebenarnya banyak persoalan yang perlu di jawab oleh kepimpinan UMNO yang semakin pincang dan tak tentu arah matlamat perjuangan untuk AGAMA, BANGSA DAN NEGARA..
Kepada Dato Mukhriz teruskan perjuangan Dato untuk menyelamatkan orang Melayu di Tanah Melayu yang tercinta ini. KEPADA SELURUH AHLI UMNO AKAR UMBI FIKIR-FIKIRKAN JASA ANDA KEPADA ANAK CUCU KITA SEBELUM TERLAMBAT.. JANGAN MENANG SORAK KAMPUNG TERGADAI.
