RM23.9bil oil pipeline project given to RM150,000 company

Malaysia's proposed M$23.9bil oil pipeline would - in most countries - have been approved only after a detailed blueprint was made public, comprehensively discussed - and tendered to the company with the soundest track record.
Some new revelations about the 310 km (Kedah-Perak-Kelantan) project have surfaced that are adding fuel to the debate. What company or directors have been awarded the contract?
The RM23.9 billion oil pipeline project awarded to Trans-Peninsula Petroleum Sdn Bhd, with a paid up capital only at RM150,000.The company also reported accumulated losses of RM155,376 as at June 30 last year.
The best part is one of the director is Tan Sri Osman Aroff(former Kedah MB).May be this project awarded to Trans-Peninsula Petroleum Sdn Bhd for his "noble job" that he did at Kubang Pasu last year during the branch delegates election.

osman bites the hands that used to feed him

Former Kedah Menteri Besar Osman Aroff, for whom Dr Mahathir had created a special post when Osman was ousted as the state MB, told delegates in his speech that Mahathir had a track record of causing disarray in UMNO and thus should be rejected as a delegate.
He said: “We must remember it was because of Dr Mahathir that Umno was de-registered in 1987. It was also he, who chose to fight with his deputy (Anwar Ibrahim) in 1998. Such is Mahathir's record.”
Osman averred that if the delegates elect Mahathir to represent them, it would indicate that UMNO Kubang Pasu was against (PM) Abdullah (Ahmad Badawi). Well, looks like he has been rewarded by (PM) AAB.
Osman Aroff is a disgusting moron and ungrateful creature. He has shown his true colours.
