Pas party polls : Same old faces

Young Pas leaders have fended a strong bid by party conservatives to make a comeback in the party leadership.
Nasharuddin Mat Isa was reelected as PAS deputy president after a keen contest mounted by the party’s second most senior religious scholar and conservative, Harun Taib.
The incumbent scored convincing win 574 - 367 win against the first-time candidate for the post.
Harun was believed to be capable of toppling Nasharuddin, as those seen with religious scholar backgrounds had performed well in the Youth, women’s and divisional elections.
For the vice president seat Husam and Mat Sabu retain their seats while a new person Ahmad Awang joined in.Of course Hassan Ali is out as he lost the support earlier to contest.
Looks like the won't be any changes in Pas and they will always be extremist as what Nik Aziz had said earlier those who votes for non muslim candidate is considered sesat(lost).
