Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has reminded the people that their future is with the coalition. Making
his walkabout in the Kota Raja constituency here, Najib said the people
of Selangor know of the problems when the federal and state governments
are on the opposite political divide.
"One of the current problems is water which they have still not resolved," said Najib.
He blamed the Pakatan Rakyat-led state government on focusing on taking over the state's water assets rather than ensuring ample water supply for the state.
He said the Pakatan partnership was fragile and set to crumble soon.
"They are even contesting against each other in seven constituencies. Their partnership won't last," said Najib.
He added that it was crucial for Barisan to retake Selangor, which is one of the nation's commercial hubs.
