Barisan Nasional has questioned the sale of state land for RM1.3bil
by the state government which was inked after dissolution of the state
assembly.
Selangor Barisan deputy election director Datuk Seri Mohd Zin Mohamed
asked why the Pakatan-led state government rushed the transaction
involving 1,172 acres of land in Canal City near Kota Kemuning as the
caretaker government.
He also suggested that the sale should have been RM100 per square foot, instead of the transacted price of RM25 per square foot.
The land was sold to Dijaya Corp Bhd by Permodalan Negeri Selangor Bhd (PNSB), a subsidiary under Mentri Besar Inc (MBI).
