The animosity between two Sabah opposition leaders - Ansari Abdullah and Datuk Wilfred Bumburing
- is becoming bitter. Ansari, the Tuaran PKR chief, said in a Facebook
posting that Bumburing had no locus standii to ask the party to sack
him.
'Why did you tell the voters in Tenghilan yesterday that you are a
member of Keadilan when in fact you are not?'' Ansari said in reply to
Bumburing statement two days ago to remove him.
Bumburing who
was selected in favour of Ansari for the Tuaran seat by PKR had stated
that if Umno and DAP could sack its members for indiscipline, PKR could
also take a similar action.
Bumburing said if no action was
taken against Ansari, it would pose a major problem for PKR in its
campaign in Tuaran where Ansari's daughter Erveana is contesting as an
independent.
The feud has spilt over with many PKR members refusing to campaign for Bumburing, the chairman of NGO Angkatan Perubahan Sabah.
They were spotted campaigning for Erveana, the former PKR Youth exco
member who also faces Barisan's Wilfred Madius Tangau and STAR's Samin @
Jasmin Dulin.
In his posting, Ansari accused Bumburing of
planting independent candidate against PKR in the state seat of Kiulu
and Sulaman and replacing the PKR candidate for Sulaman.
