Pakatan leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim cannot become the Prime Minister even if they win in the May 5 polls said Umno deputy president Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
He said this was because many PAS leaders had openly said they wanted party president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang to be the premier.
He
added the two parties had been disputing over seat allocations,
including in Panti, Kota Tinggi, where both fielded their own
candidates.
“Many PAS leaders have voiced openly that they wanted
Hadi to become the Prime Minister if Pakatan wins and takes over
Putrajaya.
“There will be a long dispute between the two parties,
maybe more than one year, before they can decide on who to become the
Prime Minister,” he said when opening the new SJKC Aik Ming building on
Thursday.
