Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa
Aman today launched the Agape Vocational Training Centre at the Sabah
Basel Christian Church of Malaysia here.
The centre, which was built with donations from the Sabah
Government-owned company, Sabah Energy Corporation Sdn Bhd, offers
vocational training to the underprivileged, especially physically or
mentally-disabled individuals (OKU).
In his speech, Musa said the launch of the centre was in line with the
Barisan Nasional (BN) government's commitment in ensuring that the
underprivileged, especially the OKU, would not be left out of
development.
"The responsibility to help them will always be part of the BN government's priorities," he said.
He also called on other government-linked companies to help the
underprivileged and the OKU, as part of their social corporate
responsibility.
