PAS Leaders To Meet Agong Over Illegal Rally

KUALA TERENGGANU, July 4 (Bernama) - Several top PAS leaders hopes to have audience with Yang di Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin over the July 9 illegal rally.
PAS deputy president Mohamad Sabu said president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, assistant secretary-general Dr Syed Azman Syed Ahmad Nawawi, himself and several others plan to meet him soon.
He said PAS has sent a letter to Tuanku Mizan asking for an audience and is expected to receive a reply Monday or Tuesday.
"The Agong's advice is good as he asked to safeguard public order, ensure public safety and not to destroy property.
"He is a true constitutional monarch for being a middleman to resolve the present crisis," he said at a PAS function in Ledang Monday night.
Mat Sabu said PAS welcomes Tuanku Mizan's views on the rally.

tunku : so if you are to see Tuanku Mizan, then why not hand over the memo you supposed to give him on 9th July? you don't have to march with thousands of people. just make appointment and give the memo to Tuanku Mizan. the rally had a different agenda completely.it is to create chaos in the country.tourist will stop coming to Malaysia, the economy will suffer and this is what these people wants.
