'Right out of Umno's dirty tricks department'

There is no doubt in the minds of Pakatan Rakyat leaders that Barisan Nasional - in particular, Umno - is behind the circulation of nude photos of PKR’s Elizabeth Wong.

At a press conference in PKR headquarters in Tropicana today, they were of the unanimous view that this was a plot to bring her down through “gutter politics”.
PKR vice-president and Subang MP R Sivarasa said: “We know that what has happened is clearly politically motivated.
“All this happening on the first day of Parliament yesterday was too much of a coincidence. We call on the people to reject gutter politics being practised by BN.”
This morning, Wong offer to resign from both her posts as state assembly representative for Bukit Lanjan and as Selangor executive councillor.
PAS Muslimat leader Nuridah Mohd Salleh was of the view that BN is still unable to accept its defeat in the general election last March, and has chosen underhanded means to topple the state governments chosen by the people.
“We hope the Pakatan leadership is ready to face further challenges as they (BN/Umno) may have something more up their sleeve,” she cautioned.

tunku : what can i say to this morons type of mentality.was the ex boyfriend an umno member who took the photos? he was pkr youth member and now is assistant to a pkr member of parliament.they broke up recently.so where do umno come in here? again they are shifting the facts to fictions.the same thing the did in arumugam's case in bukit selambau.that guy having relationship with a married woman and have a kid out of that relationship but they twisted the story that he resigned because umno/bn was trying to buy him out. hope that the public will open their eyes to this moron type of politics played by the pakatan.pas muslimat is also playing along with this issue......wow, i'm surprised.where has the moral gone. you don't have to be worry if you have not done anything wrong, only crooks becomes worried because they have something up their sleeves or even under their jubahs.

That's the thing, you see, BN reputation is so damaged that anyone wd believe anything of it.

In this EWong case, if u put aside that she's a politician, it's obviously a case of boy-girl falling out. It would be better if effort is made to track down the person who took the pix, and charge him if he is guilty. Instead, we are all now adding a political spin to this sorry affair.

Dear Tunku, as a parent I found that teaching of maths & science in English has a tremendous influence on the development of a child's confidence, knowledge and understanding of the two subjects. Also, we are able to benefit from the many books written on these subjects which obviously are never short in supply. Go to bookshops today and you can hardly find quality books on various sciences (Bio/Chem/Physic)for instance written in BM. Therefore, it could be safely concluded that learning the subjects in English has many advantages especially with so many books on the subject available in bookshops. Don't get me wrong because I'm not trying to put down our National Language, but facts are facts. Our educators have not come out with enough books on the subjects particularly for the tertiary education.
