Nizar To Work From MB Residence

IPOH, Feb 10 (Bernama) -- Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin, who has refused to step down as menteri besar, was today barred from entering the State Secretariat building here as he tried "to report for work" this morning.
Nizar, together with former state excos from Pakatan Rakyat, including Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham of DAP, arrived in several cars at 11am and were greeted by about 40 supporters.
However, as they approached the main entrance, the police stopped them from entering.
Later, Ipoh police chief ACP Azisman Alias advised Nizar and his group to disperse as their presence would cause traffic congestion.
Nizar then told reporters that he would continue to perform his duties from the Menteri Besar's official residence which he has refused to vacate, despite Datuk Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir being sworn in as the new menteri besar last Friday.
He claimed that as he was scheduled to meet investors in the office every Tuesday, he had to re-arrange the appointments.
"We will do our work from the menteri besar's residence and try to re-arrange some of the appointments," he said.
Asked if he would try to come back again tomorrow to get into the office, Nizar said he would not do so.

tunku : i think the investors are not stupid or moron like nizar.they won't be wasting their time to meet nizar.this fellow just can't accept the reality.give it up nizar.it's over.
may be the government should stop paying for all the expenses at the mb's residence and also the petrol for the mb's official car.bill them directly to nizar from 6th of february.
