GE 13 : Najib launches affordable housing for Putrajaya civil servants

Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak launched the 1Malaysia Civil Servants Housing Programme with houses priced between RM150,000 and RM300,000 here on Thursday.
A total of 10,336 units of between 1,000 sq ft and 1,500 sq ft will be built in several phases.
Najib said the first phase would be located in Precinct 11 and Precinct 17 and were expected to be compeleted in 18 months.
"The houses are not only affordable but of good quality.
"Civil servants need to pay RM2,000 as deposit and begin the repayment especially only when they move in," he said at the launching of the programme here on Thursday.
