Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has called on senior Pakatan Rakyat leaders to follow his footsteps and retire from politics.
Speaking at a large gathering at a Bicara Perdana event here on
Sunday night, the former prime minister said DAP advisor Lim Kit Siang
and PAS spiritual leader Nik Aziz should be "changed" as they have been around for many years.
He also hit out at PKR advisor Anwar Ibrahim calling him to make way for other families to lead the party.
"I also call on the Chinese not to fall into DAP's trap of pitting
the Chinese against the Malays as this will destroy the country," he
said.
He also urged voters in Gelang Patah to reject Lim's bid for the parliamentary seat.
