Announcing Date For Take Over Will Avoid Speculation - MP

KUALA LUMPUR, March 17 (Bernama) -- An independent Member of Parliament wants Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to announce the actual date for the handing over of the Prime Minister's post to Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, to avoid rumours and speculation.
Datuk Ibrahim Ali (Bebas-Pasir Mas) said due to the uncertainty of the issue various questions and speculations has kept the people guessing and had also weakened the share market.
"Although the date is said to be in March, a lot of questions remain unanswered while the media had been speculating various probabilities.
"I believe it had also attributed to a volatile situation in the Bursa Saham Kuala Lumpur (BSKL) although the global economic crisis had been blamed," said Ibrahim while debating on the Supplementary Supply Bill 2009 at the Dewan Rakyat here Tuesday.

tunku : ibrahim ali is right.by now they should announce the transition date.it is near end march.i don't understand why they are keeping it a secret till now.what is their intention? we are going through economy crisis and this speculation is giving more bad effect to our economy.hope they will announce it asap.
