Penang Govt Discussing With Other States On Asset Declaration

PENANG, March 4 (Bernama) -- The Penang government is in discussions with the other Opposition-led states on how to have a common guideline to declare their executive councillors assets.
Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said the guidelines would also include requirements by the federal government in the matter.
"We will wait for the leadership transition in the country to be over (this month) before deciding on the guidelines and declaring our assets," he told reporters at a special press conference in conjuction with the first anniversary of new state government, here today.
The Oppostion wrested the state from the Barisan Nasional in the last general election held in March last year.
The other states in Opposition's hands are Kelantan, Kedah and Selangor.

tunku : one after one excuses.since march 2008 till now, they still didn't declare their assets.enough of nonsense.why have to wait for the country's leadership transition, just do it.walk the talk guan eng.

Hantu kalau dah hantu, menyamar jadi baik pun tetap orang tau.
