'We left Taipei hotel before PKR's Tian Chua arrived'

KOTA KINABALU: Sept 16 has proven that Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has been lying about crossovers by Barisan Nasional Members of Parliament, especially from Sabah.
BN Backbenchers Club deputy chairman Datuk Bung Moktar Radin said: "None of the BN MPs have defected to Pakatan Rakyat. Pakatan has not taken over the government and he (Anwar) is not the prime minister."
He said Anwar and Pakatan would continue to spread lies and create speculation in hoodwinking the people into believing his fantasy of becoming prime minister.
Bung Moktar also dismissed as a "total lie" the claim by Parti Keadilan Rakyat information chief Tian Chua that he and other leaders had communicated with BNBBC members who were on a study tour in Taiwan.
"We left our hotel in Taipei at 2am to return to Kuala Lumpur.
"We understand that they (Tian Chua and his group) arrived at the hotel at 3am.
"We never met or even saw them. I am surprised with what he (Tian Chua) said.
"It appears they are prepared to tell lies to achieve their political ambitions," Bung Moktar said.
Meanwhile, Sabah BN MPs and leaders hoped that Anwar would stop harping on the takeover bid.
Sabah BN Backbenchers Club president Datuk Anifah Aman said there had been a lot of attention on Sabah MPs and it was unfair on those whose names were speculatively on the list.
"I know I for one, had my name thrown about. I was reputed to be one of those who was going to cross over into Pakatan, but I know I am not jumping, and I never intended to," he said.
Anifah, who is Kimanis MP, said that he was surprised that people bothered to listen to Anwar despite his failed promises.
"Be a good opposition leader, by being credible, and wait for the next election where you can take another shot," said Anifah.
Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah president Tan Sri Joseph Kurup said Anwar's failure to meet his deadline was evidence of this farce.
"Everything he said about forming the government on Sept 16, is not true. He thought he could be the next prime minister but the BN MPs are not easily bought or swayed. People have said over and over, that they are not for sale.
"He should give up and stop any more of this talk," said Kurup.
Liberal Democratic Party president Datuk V.K. Liew said: "Anwar's bubble has burst, but he still continues to blow trumpets to such a high tune that it's resulting in him swallowing his own saliva."
Parti Bersatu Sabah deputy president Datuk Dr Maximus Ongkili described Anwar as both a "power maniac" and a "political trickster".
"Intelligent Malaysians will not allow such a dangerous person to cause a doomed Malaysia," he said.

Anwar sungguh membingungkan.dia kata dah cukup mp tapi tak mau dedahkah jumlah sebenar.
