Ibrahim Ali Asks Ezam, Nallakaruppan To Lodge Police Reports Regarding Allegations

KOTA BAHARU, Aug 24 (Bernama) -- Two of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's former right-hand men, Mohamad Ezam Mohd Nor and Datuk S. Nallakaruppan, have been asked to lodge police reports regarding the corruption allegations they made against him during campaigning in the Permatang Pauh by-election.
Pasir Mas Member of Parliament Datuk Ibrahim Ali said these were serious allegations and must be proven through investigations by the relevant authorities and decided by the court.
"If the allegations are false, Anwar can take legal action against both his former right-hand men to clear his name," he told reporters here Sunday.
Ezam had alleged that Anwar once gave away projects worth RM15 billion to 15 of his friends, while Nallakaruppan reportedly claimed that he handed over to the former deputy prime minister RM60 million which allegedly came from Magnum Corporation Bhd.
Ibrahim said the two must prove the allegations by lodging reports with the police,
Anti-Corruption Agency and Inland Revenue Board, otherwise, they could be regarded as baseless accusations and mere political gimmick.
"I was shocked by the allegations," he said, adding that they would have a big implication on the country's political scenario and the people would want to know the truth.

tunku : what ibrahim ali said is true. this two ex right-hand men of anwar should lodge report and give the necessary evidence to the police or aca to investigate anwar but at the same time anwar too can sue them if they were telling lies.i hope ibrahim ali won't be shocked by the allegations as he knows anwar very well too.may be ibrahim ali wants action to be taken against anwar, that was his objective.

Ezam and Nalla can report against Anwar not just saying things about Anwar in their talks(ceramah).Walk the talk).

Anwar can sue them if he feels that his reputation are being smeared by those two.

Perhaps all of them arent ready or willing yet to take action against each other for now.

For now, we can be sure with this issue.
Both claims to have evidences but where?
Politicians need to start ditching their usual act of just talking but follow-up.

these 2 guys, ezam amd nalla, are desperados. wasting our time listening to them. they have nothing to lose as they are already rejected by everyone. why are these 2 guys always together? bringing them to permatang is a liablity to UMNO.
