Heavy Duty For Khairy - Chicken out on first task

KUALA LUMPUR, March 28 (Bernama) -- Perhaps it is fair to say that the foremost challenge facing Umno Youth after its elections, is changing the negative perception about the movement from within and outside the party.
This definitely includes the negative perception of its leader Khairy Jamaluddin, who was constantly booed by the delegates each time his name was mentioned at the party's general assembly which ended, here, today.
This kind of reception was also given to Khairy, who is Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's son-in-law, when he won the Umno Youth deputy head post uncontested in the party elections five years ago.
"People think that he won because of money politics. This perception is difficult to avoid," political observer Assoc Prof Dr Ahmad Nidzammuddin Sulaiman told Bernama today.
Many political observers also see this negative perception posing as a bigger challenge for Umno and Barisan Nasional (BN) when they face the opposition in three by-elections simultaneously -- Bukit Gantang in Perak, Bukit Selambau in Kedah and Batang Ai in Sarawak -- on April 7.
Before the party elections, Khairy who is also the member of parliament for Rembau, was issued a warning by the Umno Disciplinary Board for breaching the party's code of ethics involving money politics.
Nidzammuddin said what was important now was for Khairy to overcome the negative perception about him.
"If the perception is that he is unapproachable and arrogant, Khairy has to change his ways in dealing with people. He has to prove that he is the opposite of what people think of him," he said.
Khairy had also often been accused of "calling the shots" behind the administration of Abdullah which Khairy denied.
Another political observer, Assoc Prof Dr Muhammad Agus Yusoff, however, said the Umno Youth chief should be given the chance to defend himself and lead the movement as he was democratically chosen by the delegates.
"Those who reject Khairy are rejecting the democratic process in Umno Youth. "The perception of whether he was involved in money politics or not, is second issue. He should be given the chance to prove himself," said Muhammad Agus who did not dismiss the possibility of the opposition using the Khairy issue to score points in the three by-election campaigns.
In the movement's elections on Wednesday, Khairy defeated Jerlun member of parliament Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir, 44, who had received the most nominations, and former Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo, 43, to lead the movement.
He obtained 304 votes against Dr Mohamad Khir's 254 and Mukhriz's 232.
"Khairy is under tremendous pressure. If he can overcome the negative perception and reunite the movement's members, eventually he will win respect," said a Khairy supporter who declined to be identified.
After chairing the Umno Youth executive committee (exco) meeting for the first time yesterday, Khairy was bombarded with questions from the media on the negative perception about him and how he would deal with them in the run-up to the three upcoming by-elections.
"My first priority is to ensure that among the elected exco members, there is a commonality of purpose, solidarity, team spirit and commitment to the movement's agenda.
"Most importantly, I have good support from (Datuk) Razali (Ibrahim), my deputy. As far as I'm concerned, after the results, there will be some dissatisfaction. But we have decided to put this aside and continue with our agenda," he said.
Political analysts feel that Khairy needs to really work hard to change the negative perception about him because traditionally, the head of Umno Youth will be appointed as BN Youth chief.
If he doesn't change, Khairy will be just a 'village champion', they say.

tunku : this agus chap is like a circus clown sometimes.we understand it is a democratic process but we also knows that kj is involved in money politics and only give a warning where else the charges should be like ali rustam's. how would umno youth deal with public when the movement chief is a corrupted person? umno has to bear with this liability and it will cost umno dearly.
kj has chicken out on his first task when his deputy(Razali) head the movement for three by elections, where else he should be the one and this is his chance to prove his critics wrong but he did not.he don't want to take the blame i guess if bn lose the by elections.

Tunku,
Is he playing safe or playing politics?
Sama2lah kita tengok episod selanjutnya kerana kebenaran itu nyata.

Khairy says he is open to advice.............so my advice to him is to resign from his post to allow for fresh mandate from Pemuda.

Tunku,

Glad you are back.

My main concern now is on DS Najib.
All eyes will be on him now to see if he meant what he said.
Already,public have prejudged him.
They already have negative perceptions of him.

As one UMNO debater voiced out at the UMNO GA a few days ago, a fish rots from the head. If the head is bad so will the whole fish.

Let's hope there's no gun pointing behind DS Najib's back.

In Bukit Gantang, Umno's new Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin is seen shaking hands with PAS supporters and is jeered by the crowd.

STUPID PRESUMPTION OF A SIMILAR KIND

If someone forced me to bet my money on any candidate, then I will bet on Khairy Jamaluddin, because if things don't change any time sooner, then he will definitely win the party's election to become the next UMNO youth's chief.

Sound so bad isn't? For someone like me who despise the Illuminati so much, how could I think that this man will win against Mukhriz Mahathir? Why is that?

My answer for you all, it is because we have been idiots since March 2008, and we have learned nothing at all from the recent events, and that despite warnings given, we still hadn't' realized that our compass had been diverted from its true north.

The general things about us Malays are we always assume the course of human history is always influenced by one person only. So when UMNO was on its height we gave every credits on one person that is Tun Mahathir, and when UMNO plunged on March 2008 we put the blame almost entirely on Pak Lah. Of course Tun deserves most of the credit, but so does the rest of the population who abide to his policies and promoted it to make it work. And yes yes yes, we do associate the no good son-in-law of Paklah to UMNO's downfall, but if that means we already won, how come after we had successfully forced Pak Lah to unseat himself this coming March, the son in law is still able to maintain his course to become the next Cabinet Minister?

The success and failure of a nation is influenced by the entire population as a whole. The leader and the people are just different individuals working together for the glory the team. A prime minister is just one person with 5 senses like the rest of us. The difference between Tun and Pak Lah goes down to guts and knowledge. Tun knew that despite of leading the most politically powerful party in Malaysia, the survival of his political legacy still requires the supports and dedication of the entire population regardless of race and religion. Pak Lah on the other hand assumed that all he needs to please and listen to is a bunch of 4th floor boys, some Ethos advisors, Political Figures and a few thousands of Ketua Bahagian and Cawangan.

Such a grave mistakes, and it will costs him more that he could bear. I mean to be branded by the generations of the future as one of the biggest loser in Malays history is, I think, the worse thing could happen to an aging man like him. To understand how bad it will be, just imagine that 10 years time your own child is blaming you on something you've done today, yaiiii!.. That sucks big time, wouldn't it?

But of course he can still do something about it. He knows that protecting the wishes of his daughter and his menantu will come at the costs of sacrificing UMNO and the entire future generation. Pak Lah knows how corrupt his menantu is and that he will be more and more corrupt as he stepped towards the next big seats in UMNO. If things go as planned by the Illuminati, Khairy Jamaluddin will be the reason behind the disintegration of UMNO and the entire Barisan Nasional before the next general election, and Pak Lah will be in the front seat to see it all happened.

The question to us now is whether we want to sit next to Pak Lah when all these things happen. The truth is, it doesn't matter whether you're a common man on a street or a member of parliament, or whether you're making just a thousand ringgit or a million per month, we all are responsible for the future of our next generation. So should the next ten or twenty years see the deterioration of the quality of life affecting our children in this country, then the question to us by then is what had we done today to prevent such future misfortune?

If my prediction is correct, we will see the misfortune that had befall us on PRU-12 March 2008 repeating itself in the next UMNO General Assembly March 2009. Remember what had happened during the nation's 12th general election? Millions of UMNO / BN loyalists all over the country cast their precious votes in favor of the opposition because they were trapped under presumption that their votes wouldn't make a difference. Duped by the opposition's calling of "jom kurangkan majoriti", each and everyone of them assume that Barisan Nasional is too strong to be shaken that a couple of missing votes from them will not change history. Under such presumption and coupled with dissatisfaction towards Paklah's policies, some cast their votes for Anwar Ibrahim, others deliberately cast bad votes, while the remaining in the category didn't even bother to go to vote at all.

The rest of the story as we know it, is history. Barisan Nasional lose five states and we are now watching all sorts of opposition sponsored groups and individuals marching to our doors trying to strip us of all the benefits we previously enjoyed unchallenged.

As I'm watching the recent numbers of those nominating Khairy Jamaluddin to become the next UMNO youth's chief, I began to realize that the plague of money politics and stupid foresights are still embedded within our local UMNO leaders. No doubt that amongst all the 52 divisions who nominated him as candidate, probably only a few of them really supports him at hearts. The rests are either being threatened, bribed or sweet talked into doing it. It doesn't make sense that our divisions leaders failed to see that KJ is one of the major factor behind the downfall of UMNO during the last general election. Therefore any remarks that the nomination of Khairy Jamaluddin is mirroring wishes of the grassroots members are all bullocks.

So why are these divisions still submitting themselves to the fear and temptations? I think the reason is because like the rest of us prior to the 12th general election, leaders and members of these divisions thought that their nominations and votes would not make any difference. Upon learning that Dato Mukhriz Mahathir had already won the nomination with impressive 75 nominations, everyone now is assuming that it would be a walk on the park for Mukhriz to be elected as the next Youth's Chief. Therefore upon being offered with bribes and sweet promises by Khairy's camp, each of them was thinking "hmm.. mukhriz already won nomination.. even if I take the money and nominate KJ now it wouldn't change anything.. so why not.. jom sambil menyelam sambil minum air"

Not changing anything is it? Oh really?

That is why I'm saying that in the next general assembly there'll be a big surprise waiting for us. Our tsunami hopefull Dato Mukhriz, the son of our beloved Tun Mahathir, WILL LOSE the party election. Thousands of UMNO members attending the assembly will come with full love and support of Dato Mukhriz. Everyone will talk to the person sitting next to him about the worse of KJ and the best of Mukhriz. Everybody will claim he is part of the tsunami and praises the changes about to be done by Mukhriz. But when it's time to vote, they will instead vote for Khairy Jamaluddin because earlier they had been tempted with promises of this and that from Khairy's camp. Due to the massive supports gathered by Mukriz during nomination, all of them will cast a vote in favor of KJ because each and every one of them assumes that their votes will not make any difference. The person sitting on the left assume the person sitting on the right will vote for Mukhriz and vice versa, whereas what will actually happen is both of them will casts their vote for Khairy.

Once the dusts cleared and Khairy won the election, each and everone of them will start blaming the voting systems or delegation members from this and that states. No one is willing to admit that he is the one who secretly cast the Khairy's vote.

If I'm proven wrong about this and that Dato Mukhriz won the election, I'll be inviting my neighbors for kenduri kesyukuran. To all individuals who will be attending UMNO general assembly, please please proof me wrong.

We as the member of UMNO who support this tsunami must remind ourselves that we too must play our role in ensuring Mukhriz's winning together with the rest of UMNO leaders who are pro-tsunami. Despite our busy schedules and daily workloads, we should at least contribute a little bit to ensure that this tsunami will no subside at least until the next general election. From visiting your non-Malay neighbors to voting in UMNO general assembly, from helping those who need your assistance regardless of his religion to writing an article for anti opposition blogs, from protecting your neighborhood from Mat Rempit to printing huge banner depicting anti Anwar Ibrahim slogan - all good deeds performed in multiracial community coupled with straight forward campaign against the proxies of Illuminati are parts of the tsunami, and like the votes which shall be counted in the general assembly, all our conducts today will eventually shape the future of our children.

PAU ke 59: Khairy di’boo’, PM ‘Flip-Flop’ Abdullah selar Tun Dr. Mahathir

Hari ini menyaksikan Perhimpunan Agung UMNO (PAU) ke 59. Ianya dimulakan dengan upacra tradisi menaikan bendera Sang Saka Bangsa dan menyanyikan lagu Bersetia, Bersatu, Berkhidmat diperkarang PWTC. Sebagaimana dijangkakan, tiada perkara luar biasa seharusnya berlaku dalam rutin tahunan (kecuali 2008 dimana tiada PAU). Namun begitu, satu peristiwa luar jangka berlaku.

Kemudian, hampir tengahmalam, diumumkan keputusan pemilihan jawatan Pemuda UMNO.

Mereka mula bersorak “ ‘KJ’, rasuah!” tanpa henti henti.

Kini igaunan ‘harapkan sokong, sokong membawa rebah’, benar benar berlaku.

Assala'kum Tunku

Elok bubarkan saja Pemuda UMNO. Sebab merekalah orang2 muda sokong pembangkang. Tambahan pula sekarang Raja Hipokrat dah jadi ketua. Sebelum PRU 12 dulu menantu Pak Dol beri beratus ribu RM kepada kebanyakan ketua pemuda bahagian, just like that. Kalau mereka nafi suruh sumpah dalam masjid tangan pegang kitab suci Al-Quran.

Saya semakin BENCIKAN Umno

Kalau Najib lepas nie lantik beruk haram nie pegang apa2 jawatan dlm kerajaan, maka muktamadlah berkuburnya UMNO. lupakan terus UMNO.

dulu kini selamanya? said...

if we're genuinely interested to end corruption in UMNO and in the country, then i would totally agree. however, if it's only "the pot calling the kettle black", then this is nothing new.

the truth is, the perception of corruption involves SO MANY leaders in UMNO - INCLUDING the president - and not only the ones mentioned by the disciplinary board.

as for agus, i don't think he is a "clown".. refer to the words he used.. "demokrasi umno" (umno democracy). that's not the same as corruption-free democracy.

Who Is The Richest Man In Malaysia? It Is Not Robert Kuok ! NO ! Dola Badawi
by Matthias Chang

Future FastForward, Monday, 23 June 2008 05:24

The Myth of the Richest Man

The Badawi spin doctors since last year have on at least four occasions published the list of the 40 richest men in Malaysia and heading the list is Robert Kuok of the Shangri-la Hotel chain fame.
Everyone seems to accept this pronouncement as Gospel truth!
But this is a lie, a lie perpetrated to divert attention and the spotlight on the two men who controls the Malaysian economy.
The 2nd richest man in Malaysia is none other than Tun Daim, but he is never on the list of the rich and famous.

But my focus is not on him.
I want the spotlight to focus on the actual richest man in Malaysia.
He is none other than Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, our Prime Minister. Badawi's financial tentacles reach far and wide and within four years, his family and cahoots have amassed a fortune second to none.
How did Badawi and his family become so rich in such a short period of time?

This is the multi-billion dollar question.

Simple! By abusing his powers as Prime Minister and as Finance Minister!

The Rothschild's Game Plan

Mayer Amshel Bauer Rothschild, the founder of the Rothschild money empire said:
"Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes the law."

And over the years, the Rothschild dynasty and its global affiliates have applied this principle so successfully that they control the US Federal Reserve and other strategic central banks.
They are the global money power!

The Money Powers of Badawi

It is strange how people forget or rather ignore the fact that Badawi is also the Finance Minister.
The combined powers of a Prime Minister and that of the Finance Minister have enabled Badawi to harness all the financial
resources and control levers of the national money-making machine.
No doubt, the precedent was set by Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. But you will recall that it was only after the 1997 financial crisis and the abuse of power by Anwar Ibrahim as Finance Minister, and his slavish adherence to the IMF, World Bank and the Washington Consensus, that compelled Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad to take over the Ministry of Finance, so as to put right the economy.

Under the guidance of Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, the economy recovered rapidly and by the fall of 2003, we had a robust economy that enabled Badawi to call for the March 2004 General Elections. Badawi's enormous election victory was grounded to a large extent on an economy that had fully recovered from the turmoil of 1997/1998 crisis.

Badawi and his family, specifically his son and son-in-law and key advisers realised upon taking power that they have in their hands all the control levers of the national money-making machine – the levers that control Bank Negara (the central bank) and Petronas, the national oil company.

Obviously, there are the subsidiary levers that control the various government agencies that have been established to assist the national money-making machine.

All the Positive Data, But …

Every other week since March 2004, we have been inundated with positive data as to how robust is our economy. The Governor of Bank Negara never ceased to remind us that inflation is low and under control. I have to assume she does not go to the market to purchase food for her family - such chores must have been delegated to her maids etc.

Then there is the bravado and hype of the various development corridors amounting to a massive RM1.3 trillion.

But ask any businessmen, and they all moan and groan about the lack of direction, the loss of economic momentum and the slowdown in the collections of receivables.
How does one explain this phenomenon?

Let me explain. During Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad's tenure as Prime Minister, our economy was like a car cruising at a constant speed of 120 kph after 22 years of building up the speed and momentum. We were experiencing a steady and comfortable ride.
Applying the laws of physics, a matter in motion has its own momentum, but if the momentum is not maintained, it slows down and then comes to a halt.

This is exactly what is happening to our economy. It is now moving but at a slower rate, in fact decreasing rapidly because the Badawi regime did not maintain the previous momentum.

The Badawi regime, instead of applying the levers of the national money-making machine to accelerate the development of the country, has diverted the resources for self-enrichment. The ensuing disaster was compounded by gross negligence and mismanagement by his advisers, the so-called smart wannabes on the 4th Floor!
This small band of crooks, led by Badawi and his family has initiated a process of self-enrichment and plunder. This disease has now infected the top echelons of the national elites in both the public and private sectors – everyone for himself - the cari makan, jaga perut mentality!

What Are the Chances of Recovery?

The damage to the economy by the Badawi regime is so extensive and the disease so widespread, that it will take at the minimum, ten years to recover from the present state of affairs and this is conditional upon Badawi stepping down before the 2nd half of this financial year.

This is because the present situation will be further aggravated by the impact and consequences of the global financial tsunami! The 2nd phase has been predicted by the experts to commence in less than 90 days!
But if the Badawi regime is allowed to survive and continue its plunder and gross mismanagement, Malaysia as a nation will end up as a failed state.

The Bumiputera community will suffer the most and because its fate is so tied up with the non-bumiputera economy, the entire edifice will implode and we will witness social upheaval never experienced by our beloved country.

Bring Back the Plundered Billions!

For a start, the entire nation must demand from the Badawi regime, its web of collaborators and "bankers" to repatriate the billions that have been siphoned and stashed overseas in numbered accounts in foreign banks.
The Bumiputera community must demand from the Badawi regime that they cease immediately the destruction of the Bumiputera economic and financial crown jewels.

30 years of the NEP has enabled the Bumiputera community to create and establish successful economic and financial entities, the pride of our nation. Proton is just one example of these sterling achievements.

If the Bumiputera community fails to reclaim its dignity and proud achievements, do not thereafter blame the non-bumiputera community and the foreign governments for not according you the respect you so deserve after more than 30 years of sweat and toil.
Take heed of my observations for they reflect the objective truth. Ignore them at your peril.
If you, my brothers and sisters fail, then I fail as well.
Therefore let us unite to resolve this national disaster.
Remove the malignant leadership!

tunku : the longer badawi stays, the more destruction he will bring to us.i hope everyone will open their eyes especially the bn members who always like morons stand firm behind this man.just push him and throw him far away if you love your country.

Kita patut desak Presiden baru UMNO supaya:

6. Jika mereka asalnya peniaga, hadkan hanya kepada satu jawatan MD untuk syarikat peribadinya sahaja. Jika selepas menjawatkan jawatan PEMUDA, tiba2 ada syarikat baru ditubuhkan maka perlu disingkirkan dari PEMUDA.

APA YANG PATUT MEREKA LAKUKAN (BARISAN PEMUDA UMNO BARU):

1. Pergi seluruh cawangan UMNO dan beri penerangan.

2. Pastikan HARGA BARANG2 HARIAN TURUN

3. Pastikan kebanjiran WARGA ASING YANG HARAM dibendung secara total terutamanya kawasan AJK & Barisan PEMUDA UMNO baru.
