Senior Citizen Found Hanged In Rented House

TANAH MERAH, July 22 (Bernama) -- A senior citizen was found hanged from the stairs of his rented house in Jalan Wan Ahmad here, at 5.45 pm yesterday.
Tanah Merah police chief DSP Abdul Aziz Mahmud said the 69-year-old man was found by policemen who came to investigate following a report from the neighbours about the disappearance of the man and the stench emanating from the house.
"The victim lived alone in the house and based on the condition of the body, we believe that he died several days ago," he told reporters here Wednesday.
He said the body was found clad in a shirt and sarong.
A search on the house found that all doors and windows were locked from inside.
"The victim had a history of mental problems and we do not rule out the possibility that he had hanged himself. Further investigation, however, will be carried out to ascertain the cause of death," he said.
The body was taken to Tanah Merah Hospital for post-mortem before being claimed by the family.

tunku : we want a royal commission to be formed to investigate the cause of the senior citizen who was found hanged in a rented house. the royal commission should be headed by lim kit siang, anwar ibrahim and lim guan eng.

Tunku,

Sometimes I think all te enforcement agencies should be abolished. Just have Royal Commissions here, there and everywhere for anything and everything. And because no one else in this country is honest and credible, without sin, with halos around his/her head, it follows then that only the very honest, credible ones like Anwar, Lim Kit Siang and Lim Guan Eng should head all of them. LKS should be given the title "Father of Royal Commisions of Inquiry" too because he doesn't seem to be doing anything else but calling for the setting up of royal commissions all the time. Maybe he'll shut up and do something useful if he heads these commissions.

Agreed?

tunku.. please explain..
1. Royal Commission should be changed to Race Commision as the commission is selectively applied.
2. Malay student falled from the ukm flat - WHO CARE....
3. TBH case died at Massalam Building - malay lead the chorus..demo, prayer, condemming police and MACC, bla..bla..+ RM20,000 khairat kematian!!!!
4. Kugan case - pm office minister rushed to condemn the police..+ RM10,000.00 khairat kematian!!
5. Sorry to say.. the old man died inside the hut - WHO CARE...
6. If the MACC investigation could cause the witness to commit suicide then the MACC is worst that the American Guantanamo bay tortures where noboby commits suicide.
why the malay is being alienated...

Sometimes it is quite depressing that even political figures like Tunku Aishah seem not to be able to see the need of credible public agencies such as the Police, MACC and the government as a whole.

Although it is sad that the person committed suicide but how does an Inquiry able to help recommend reform to make related agencies of communities do better for the country?

Does Tunku support abusive Police and MACC? And don't go into the Police and MACC are malay agencies crap. If so, why made Police and MACC so? Who is to be blamed? Even if they are pure blood Malay agencies, don't any right thinking person want such agencies to do proper job? When such tragedy does not befall you, you just like to make fun like a lot of pro-UMNO blogs. Ask Nurin's family if it was fun for them when everyone including the Police playing up issue to make news as well as cover their as*es?

hey

for a series of allegations, YOU have not listed any shred of evidence to back your unfounded and baseless allegations

provide facts and hard data before you self-righteously accuse agencies of abuse and covering of a***s

Tunku

You are doing a great job. Highlight all Malay and Indian deaths and see if these so-called opposition will take up the cases

Just like the case of the "chinese" girl who squatted in prison and turned up to be a Malay girl

After that SILENCE - no more politicking

Hindraf has also given up on pakatan rakyat to help them, they have formed a new party

Anon@July 23, 2009 8:12 PM,

Threatening the parent of arrest to get them to lessen the pressure on police, leak of investigation photos are just some of them. Leak details of abuse to press so that they can have a field day at the expense of the family. Are they supporting information enough. As Tun M said, "step into their shoes!"

If someone were to die in your house. Would you have to take some responsibilities to furnish information as to how and why the person died? Shouldn't MACC and pice made their facilities better guarded as well as 'human friendly'? MACC can copy ICAC but they claim to copy MACC's intentions but not the same substance. As for police, so many custodial deaths and the recent one died because fell on toilet. There are so many public toilets and why nobody died in toilet from say Jaya Jusco or Tesco etc? That people like you do not feel need to improve as a responsible Malaysian citizen?
