KOTA BAHARU, Nov 8 (Bernama) -- Kelantan Umno is confident the party will regain its strength under Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak's leadership and recapture the five states from the opposition.State Umno liaison chairman Tan Sri Annuar Musa also said the Najib leadership would not only be able to enhance solidarity within the party but also unify the various races in the country.
"We all have to give support to Najib as the country's leader after this," he said when opening the delegates conference of Ketereh Umno division here Saturday.
In the conference attended by 390 delegates, Annuar retained his seat as the divisional head, the post he has held since 1987.
He said the country needed a leader of calibre to ensure the country remain prosperous and peaceful, and Najib was one and also possessed the experience. "He can bring back people's confidence," he added.
tunku : annuar musa said 5 states, wow. i guess najib,umno and bn must sweat till they dehydrated to get back those states.it's not impossible but a tough task for all of them.the best part annuar musa said only 5 states, that means kelantan not included.this means annuar musa has given up of wresting back kelantan from pas and i am sure with the current umno leadership in kelantan(except for fews like mustapha mohamed etc), kelantan will remain under pas.

Tak lambat ke? Oposition nampak dah comfortable. Anyway we in Perak will be suffering for a few more years as not much work for contractors reason being "perbelanjaan berhemah" Mampus lah contractor kecil macam ni kami nak pindah negeri lain hingga BN dapat Perak balik.TOLONG LAH AMBIL BALIK PERAK SEBELUM KAMI GULUNG TIKAR
An uphill task. with all this money politics going on in UMNO and the squabbles among UMNO members the next GE is going to be tough for BN. The economy too may not favour BN. Leaders with a lot of baggage are another liability to UMNO. the Opposition will exploit on this. The voters will always find it juicy to hear all this and hit at them during campaigns. The trend among the youth is against the establishment. Money cannot buy every one. When that happens the supporters will abandon the ship like what happened in Permatang Pauh by-election recently. No money no talk said many of the UMNO workers. Money or no money we will work for you, said the workers for the opposition. The disgruntled UMNO losers will soon leave quietly and some will sabotage umno comes the next GE. MONEY POLITICS WILL FINISH UMNO IN THE NEXT GE. Mahathir is absolutely right. Just wait and see those who are now nominated may not all win comes the voting day. Money will decide who will win. This is a fact.
