Do not betray party for personal interest – Musa

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Aman advised Barisan Nasional (BN) and Umno members not to betray the party just for personal interest.
Musa said he had called and advised ex-committee member of Umno Libaran Division, Sahar Saka, not to contest as an Independent candidate.
“His (Sahar) action proves that he is betraying the party by contesting as an Independent candidate for the Libaran parliamentary seat,” he added.
The Sabah BN chairman said this during a meet-the-people session at Sungai Batang polling centre here yesterday.
Present were the BN candidate for Libaran parliamentary seat, Datuk Juslie Ajirol and state Wanita Umno chief Datuk Armani Mahiruddin.
Musa also advised the people not to be deceived by Independent candidates claiming to support BN.
He said it was only their trick to confuse voters to get their votes.
Commenting on the two-day visit of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to Sabah on Tuesday and Wednesday, Musa said with the support from the people, Sabah would be able to contribute major victories in both parliamentary and state seats.
