Selangor MB crisis: Why reveal corruption allegations now

Mca deputy president Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic) has questioned why allegations of corruption involving Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim's administration have only surfaced due to his reluctance to step down as Selangor Mentri Besar.
The Minister in the Prime Minister's Department asked why the negative elements of Khalid's administration had not been brought up before that.

"During Pakatan Rakyat's recent Kajang Move, opposition leaders sang praises for Khalid, saying that he was an efficient and hardworking leader.

"Now that there is a crisis, the opposition leaders have changed their tune and are taking turns to point fingers and criticise him," said Dr Wee.

Wee was referring to Pandan MP and PKR strategic director Rafizi Ramli, who had shed light on Khalid's alleged involvement in corruption.

Dr Wee said that in a press conference after meeting the people during his visit to Kampung Baru Ayer Baloi here on Sunday.
