Perception War: Where Does BN Stand?‏

Najib Razak, generally admitted that the Barisan Nasional, has lost the ‘perception war’ in the past 13th general election. It was reported in the Free Malaysian Today news portal date 16 June 2013, the lies and fraud that has been played by the opposition that has created a bad perception to the government.

What has been said by Najib Razak is true; this is because BN almost lost the election because of PR trickery in the past election. If there is anyone who must protest the PRU-13 it is BN and not PR.

BN was doing all it can for the rakyat, however, the PR is making up stories to ensure that the people of Malaysia hate Barisan Nasional. They do not have to work for the people but spend their whole term in office spreading lies and rumours in order to defame the government. Just look at the leaders of PR, from the likes of Anwar Ibrahim, Lik Kit Siang to the former mentri besar of Kelantan, Nik Aziz Nik Mat, what have they done to their constituency?  In the state that is govern by the Pakatan Rakyat, they lied to the people by showing off their state financial spending that is quite interesting, but the one who are benefitted is not the people of those state, but it can only be enjoyed by contractors, developers and business man.

Thus, all of BN efforts in helping the people of Malaysia are left to be unseen while the disgusting reality of the Pakatan Rakyat is covered with their perception game.

Even after the general election, there seems no end to the perception wars. No actual fact has been presented by the opposition on their accusation of the alleged electoral fraud made by BN. A lot of people still believe their lies. Everything is just perception created by the PR to cloud the judgement of the people.
How can this happen to Malaysians?

How can Malaysian are no longer able to think on the basis of facts and evidence? Why is it that no one took the liberty to ask Anwar Ibrahim on how to transport 40,000 Bangladeshi nationals, teach them how to vote, give them a place to stay, give them our identity card and later take them to the polling stations? The fact remains, that none of the Bangladeshi were caught, either by PR or by any of their media partners. Where are all of these Bangladeshi now?

Why none of the PR supporters ask about the electrical disturbance? Where did it happen? How many votes were added or lessen after the disturbance? Why any opposition party member did not state any protest during the counting process?

No one ask anything, they swallow everything whole and anything that is given to them by the opposition. That is the power of perception, it can even defeat facts and evidence.

It is hard for us admit that, some Malaysians today perceive BN as corrupt, slow, evil and weak.
In an instance, we found out that BN is still the choice for suburban and small townships. BN only lost to the urban voters and also the Chinese. We also know that those who lives outside big cities still relies on traditional media, while those who lives in the cities rely on social media, that is the internet.
What is the meaning of this?

Voters who rely on traditional media will choose BN but those who listen, watch and read via social media will choose PR.

Why is that? It is because BN Social Media are not able to take on the perception of ‘corrupt, lazy, weak, evil and stupid that has been labelled by the opposition. Even though the BN social media has tried to work hard to answer these entire false allegation made by the Pakatan Rakayat, the results is truly unsatisfactory.
Why BN are not able to tackle this issue?

Accept the fact that the people of Malaysia are not able to read the hidden message on every political writings and media. They failed to identify whether it is genuine or an attack to a person or a party. Some of these political writings are intended to destroy or build someone’s characters. We hope that Malaysians are able to identify such things.

Some Malaysian loves to compare opposition news portal that are much more serious rather than pro-government blog that are sometimes too relaxed and commercial. All of these factors help to improve the perception that BN is corrupt, full of “yes” man, stupid, low mentality and even indecent (putting indecent picture of women in blogs).

Even if the opposition social media shows something that is 100% lies and delirious facts, people still considered it as a genuine news portal as there are no ‘slapstick’ elements or side entertainment like many pro-government website.

This situation is reversed in the side of traditional media. Harakah or Suara Keadilan is a regular user of stupid perception, no credibility and habitual liar. Because of that, the opposition are not able to get votes from those who are getting their information in the traditional media.
In conclusion, if BN wants to win the perception wars, BN must show the correct attitude towards the social media.  We must show that the Barisan Nasional supporters have high integrity, mature and intelligent in speaking out our mind.

It is not impossible to win the perception wars as we are ready to fight the opposition fictions with our facts.

the only ones fooled by the social media are the inexperienced history-blind youth

the adults were not fooled especially mca gerakan voters

they consciously PLANNED to kill off UMNO not BN so that chinese can rule blessed and rich Malaysia, just like greater singapore

which is why they gave Najib a chinese tsunami slap even after the much publicised expensive gangnam and new year bash

as for nik aziz, social media plays no part but he is too consumed by revenge

the buttman will do anything to be PM even sell ISLAM

the foreign interference and vast funding also plays a big part not just oil media

the key to all this madness are the chinese papers where the real messages and strategies are relayed
