Be a gentleman Lajim Ukin.

Lajim Quits As Umno Supreme Council Member

KOTA KINABALU, July 28 (Bernama) -- Datuk Seri Lajim Ukin announced his resignation as Umno Supreme Council member, Beaufort Umno divison chief and Beaufort Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman, with immediate effect.
However, he maintains his post as Deputy Housing and Local Government Minister as well as an Umno member.
"As for my post as deputy minister, that will be decided by Prime Minister (Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak) at his discretion.
"Meanwhile, the Umno Supreme Council will determine my membership in Umno...if they feel I have violated the party's regulations then they can dismiss me," he said during a breaking of fast ceremony and the declaration of the the setting up of Pakatan Perubahan Sabah (PPS) or the Sabah Reform Party at his residence in Likas Jaya, near here.
At the event, Lajim also announced the lineup of PPS representatives in 17 parliamentary constituencies in Sabah.

tunku : lajim have decided to quit your post and at the same time forming a new party. he will organise a function tonight and it will be attended by anwar and few others.my question is why is he still want to be an umno member and a deputy minister? why don't he quit umno with dignity, relinquish his ministerial post.why he has to wait for the pm to take action? be a gentleman lajim.afterall you are not a big name in bn and umno.you cannot have it both ways. if you openly disagrees with the party or government stand and you tacitly wants to work with the opposition, then you should just quit Umno as a gentleman.
