Pas' hudud allows to sodomy the wife.

Dewan Rakyat Hots Up To PAS Hudud Allowing Husband To Sodomise Wife

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 20 (Bernama) -- The Dewan Rakyat proceedings today got heated up when an independent member alleged that the Hudud laws passed by the PAS government when it was administering Terengganu allowed husbands to sodomise their wives.
When debating the 2011 Supply Bill, Datuk Zulkifli Noordin (Ind -Kulim-Bandar Baharu) said according to Section 14 of the Syariah, Qisas and Takzir Criminal Enactment gazetted in 2004 in the state, it would not be an offence for a husband to do so.
Zulkifli's statement upset several opposition members and caused an uproar.
"I am utterly shocked as there were more than 10 areas which were in conflict with Islam but what I want to show did not come from Islamic laws. As an example, on sodomy, it was stated in Section 14 of the enactment and it has been gazetted.
"Sodomy was interpreted as a offence which is an intercourse between a man with another man, or between a man and a woman unnaturally through the anus.
"What shocked me most was that it was stated 'apart from the wife'. It means should a husband have intercourse through the anus of the wife it is not sodomy according to PAS'hudud," said Zulkifli.
Zulkifli also disclosed that the enactment on the appointment of judges would allow non-Muslims to be appointed as judges on hudud laws while another aspect on 'qazaf' which involved four witnesses for adultery, provides that should one of the witnesses withdraw, the three other witnesses would be punished.
He said the disclosure showed what had been called hudud laws by PAS which it wanted to implement were not the laws of Allah but were laws designed by the party itself.
"When I checked, it was true Tun Mahathir (former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad) rejected Terengganu's hudud laws because they were not Islamic laws but the laws of PAS. There were obviously errors such as allowing sodomy of wives and others," he said.
According to Zulkilfi, the decision of Tun Mahathir in rejecting the hudud had been distorted by certain parties at that time.
The disclosure by Zulkifli on sodomy got Salahuddin Ayub (PAS-Kubang Kerian) to interject and accuse Zulkifli of making wild accusations and requested that Zulkifli and Datuk Bung Moktar Radin (BN-Kinabatangan) who also supported the statement to be referred to the Rights and Priviliges Committee.
Earlier, Bung Mokhtar had stood up and enquired:"Can one sodomise one's own wife? and Zulkifli replied:"According to PAS' hudud, can."
Salehuddin stood up and said: He cannot make such an accusation. There is no such thing according to PAS'. I asked that the two members to be censured im-for saying wife sodomy is PAS' hudud.
However, this was rejected by Deputy Speaker Datuk Ronald Kiandee who decided that they had not violated the Standing Orders.
The house continued to be in a commotion when Salahuddin and a few other members of the opposition were not happy and disputed the decision of the Deputy Speaker until Zulkifli could not continue to explain on his statement about the enactment.
Zulkifli was the forced to end his speech on the 2012 Supply Bill when his 20 minutes allocated time was over.

tunku : Astaghfirullah. No wonder Tun Mahathir rejected it. it is actually not a hudud law but pas' law.i have checked the enactment and it is right what zulkifli nordin said. it is stated clearly that sodomy is not allowed apart from the wife.click here.
