MB's aide suspended for 'fixing' cleaning contracts

KLANG: A senior aide to Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim who landed in hot soup recently for allegedly facilitating the approval of several cleaning contracts has been suspended from work.
Khalid told a media conference at the state secretariat here that the aide had been suspended for two months.
The aide was hauled-up by the ACA earlier this month for allegedly being involved in the approval of contracts for cleaning and garbage collection in Petaling Jaya.
The probe began last week after several people claiming to be PKR members lodged a report against the officer, alleging that there were irregularities in the approval of the contracts.
Khalid said the officer would be asked to come back to work if he was cleared of the allegations.

tunku : not even hundred days the senior aide already approving lots of contracts to the cronies.just imagine if he's there for 5 years.

To be fair, at least the PR is willing to suspend errant offiecrs and aides. I do not recall any BN cronies being sacked at all.
