PKR's new rep goes missing

nasarudin hashimThe Pakatan Rakyat government in Perak seemed to be heading for more trouble when Menteri Besar Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin told reporters that the recently defected representative from Umno had gone missing.

It speculated that Bota state assemblyperson Nasarudin Hashim, who joined PKR on Jan 25, is on his way back to Umno.
This latest development would put the Pakatan government under tremendous pressure following the earlier decision of its three Pakatan representatives to become independents.
Two other Pakatan state representatives are believed to be in the midst of joining the three to become independents.
All five all eventually believed to be joining BN.
Speaking to reporters at his office at about 3pm, Mohammad said that Nasarudin's son had informed them that the politician was "kidnapped on his way to Ipoh from Kuala Lumpur".
Following these developments, Mohamad Nizar also urged the Perak sultan to dissolve the state assembly so that a new state election could be held.
He said that he would be seeking audience with the sultan at 4pm.

Najib to announce takeover?

Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak is scheduled to hold a press conference at the federal administrative capital of Putrajaya at 4pm.
And as Pakatan Rakyat's grip on Perak appears to be loosening by the minute, speculation is rife that the incoming premier will be announcing Barisan Nasional's takeover of the state.
It is also learnt that all BN state assemblypersons and parliamentarians in Perak have been summoned to Putrajaya.
Should the takeover materialise, it would give Najib - who is set to take over the premiership in March - a much needed boost while dealing a blow to Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim.
With the resignation of Jelapang state assemblyperson Hee Yit Foong from DAP, Barisan now has the numbers, with the help from three independents, to claim government.
With Hee's defection today, Pakatan now has 29 seats with DAP (17), PKR (6) and PAS (6), BN has 27 with Umno (26) and MCA (1), and three independents.
There is speculation that two more Pakatan assembly persons could leave the ruling coalition.

tunku : too much drama in a day.

Cukup lah sekali wahai rakyat Perak, betapa zalimnya Pakatan Pembangkang selama memerintah.

Tak serik lagi ke? Pelajar tadika tidak dibenar belajar, tanah digadai kepada penduduk kg. Baru 999 tahun dan berpoya dengan Camry sedangkan dulu kata 'Negara Kebajikan'.
