Nizar seeking to dissolve Perak govt?

IPOH: Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin is said to be seeking an audience with Sultan Azlan Shah to dissolve the state assembly.
Nizar, who was scheduled to give a press conference here at 1pm Wednesday, suddenly postponed it. However, an aide to the Mentri Besar said Nizar was seeking audience with the Sultan.
Talk is rife here that this is to get the nod from the Sultan to call for state elections.
On Tuesday, Nizar had reiterated that he would not be calling for a state election given the political developments of the past week but was prepared for any by-election.
He had said the Pakatan Rakyat government was “very stable” at the moment.
“Despite what has been happening the past week, we are very stable. There is no likelihood of the state legislative assembly being dissolved.
“In fact, we are getting sympathy and support from the people over what is happening.
“Should there be by-elections, not just involving Behrang and Changkat Jering, we are confident of winning the seats,” he had said.
In a The Star SMS poll that ran from Monday to Tuesday, 77.1% of 192 respondents said the best way to resolve the Perak situation would be to dissolve the state government and call for fresh elections

tunku : for me it is not a good idea to dissolve the perak state assembly now especially when the economy downturn.we need our resources to push the cuntry's economy not for election.
for Bn , do not accept jamaludin and osman. They are charged with corruption.Let them go through the court proceeding first. If the are not guilty, then Bn can consider taking them in otherwise DON'T.please listen to the advice of our former pm on this matter.let them remained as independent members.
for pakatan, stop the politicking and persuading Bn members to jump ship as you know what the consequences are.

i think the Sultan should not dissolve the assembly. just let the majority be the government of the day.
it is believe that three Pakatan Rakyat state assemblypersons - Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi (PKR-Behrang), Osman Jailu (PKR-Changkat Jering) and deputy assembly speaker Hee Yit Foong (DAP-Jelapang) - had submitted official letters to speaker V Sivakumar this morning to express their intention to become independent representatives.
so this mean Bn will become the majority and lead the government.
there is also talk that nasarudin the bota assemblymen will rejoin umno.

My friend
No matter what it is, they should not do that in the midst of DYMM Sultan Azlan Silver Jubliee Anniversary. It was indeed a show of disrespect by UMNO and PKR for the great ruler. This is the time for all parties in Perak to show loyalty to the ruler not potraying the act of betraying.

since PR is still the majority in Perak then i dont see why they should continue on the idea of an election.besides that the economic condition in Malaysia aint doing so well.why not postpone the election until we passed through the economic turndown.or better just wait for the next general election.
