IGP: Police probing reports against Dr M over blog post

Police are investigating reports lodged against former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad over a recent blog post.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the investigation against Dr Mahathir for defamation had already begun.

“Police have received several reports over a controversial blog post by Dr Mahathir.

“We will refer it to the Attorney-General if there is a case,” he told a press conference at the Penang police headquarters on Monday.
