MCA Should Focus On Gaining Chinese Support And Not Imitate DAP

KUALA LUMPUR, April 24 (Bernama) - The MCA should focus on gaining Chinese support and not be influenced by DAP which like to play the race card.
Umno supreme council member Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi said MCA should regain the strength lost due to the poor showing during the 2008 general election.
"MCA central committee member Loh Seng Kok should focus on strengthening the party rather than criticising Utusan Malaysia newspaper via Malaysiakini and Malaysian Insider," he said when launching an electronic dictionary at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) here Sunday.
Dr Puad said Loh's criticism of Utusan Malaysia is not fair as the newspaper has served the nation well since the fight for independence from British rule.

tunku : not only mca but also gerakan and supp should do more on gaining the chinese support.we hardly see them doing it in full force.it is the pm and umno that doing all the efforts.if gerakan, supp and mca still doesn't improve, they will lose more seats in the coming GE.mca, supp and gerakan should do their part or else they should think of their own future.they need energetic, dynamic and new generation of leaders.

It's so much easier to blame others for one's failings compared to reflecting and accepting one's own weaknesses. MCA, GERAKAN (and now SUPP) have been playing the blame game for so long that they have now become comfortable with it.

You need younger people with more dynamism to break out of this comfort zone and expand the perimeters of positive action, that is if you still believe in the philosophy of the BN. Otherwise it's that much more convenient to sit back and let others do the work. But then by doing that you will risk testing others' patience to the limit too and something will have to give then.

Serious soul searching is required. But where's the soul?

All these BN component parties are hell bent to bring down the Malay leadership and that's a fact.
After 50 over years of UMNO's "protection" they have become bolder and stronger and now ready to work with DAP to realise their ultimate objective.
They are winning the propaganda battle in making UMNO look very very bad.
Lim Kit Siang said that the Chinese will not be able to rule because they are the minority and many Malays believe it and feel secured.
What Kit Siang never mentioned was their strategy to divide the Malays is working in their favour.
It is a pity to see the Malays succumbed to DAP's(representing MCA,Gerakan and MIC) propaganda and happily helping them to dismantle the Malay political power, under the guise of corruption and mismanagement.

Any parties under UMNO will all die slowly. See the end days of Gerakan, PPP, MIC, MCA, Berjaya, PBS and so on. Only Taib is smart in rejecting UMNO but enjoy corruption.
