Pakatan has no confidence in Selangor.

Selangor won't dissolve assembly this year if parliament dissolves: MB

SHAH ALAM: Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim said the state legislative assembly would not be dissolved even if the federal government dissolved parliament this year for the next general election.
Khalid said he would only decide whether to dissolve the assembly after March 2012 as the state government's mandate would only end in 2013.
"There is talk that the federal government is considering dissolving parliament much earlier to pave the way for the 13th general election," he told a news conference after the state assembly adjourned sine die Friday.
Khalid said he decided not to adhere to the election time-table of the federal government because states could determine when to dissolve the legislative assembly, as was the case in Sarawak.
"It will give us a period of about a year (until 2012). We now would be able to assess the effectiveness of our programme," he said.
On the police confirming as genuine the recording of a sex video clip allegedly involving an opposition politician and a woman suspected to be a prostitute, Khalid said authenticity of the video recording did not necessarily mean that the character in it was whoever the individual was as alleged. - Bernama.

tunku : it is all about no confident of winning the election. if khalid and pakatan are damn sure that they will win the election they will surely dissolve the state assembly. pakatan has failed miserably in selangor. the only reason we can see that khalid wants to buy more time is to get whatever they can get (RM) out of Selangor.it is also good that they don't dissolve the assembly as BN can fully concentrate on Selangor later.
