Stop Airing Problems In The Media, Says Abdullah
i am the PRIME MINISTER,say anything you like
KUALA LUMPUR, April 12 (Bernama) -- Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has called on all government departments and agencies which are having internal problems to stop airing them in the media.
"If they have problems among themselves, face each other and sort it out. Talking to the media will not solve the problems," the prime minister told reporters after opening the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Academy here today.
The media have been highlighting the spat between Deputy Internal Security Minister Datuk Mohd Johari Baharom and CID director Datuk Christopher Wan Soo Kee as well as the one involving the Malaysian Fisheries Development Board (LKIM) and its agency Majuikan Sdn Bhd.
"They should stop exchanging replies through the media as this will only make the people lose confidence in what we are trying to do," Abdullah said.
The prime minister further said it was not necessary for the government to issue guidelines to stop the exchange of words.
Mohd Johari and Wan have been sparring over the crime index for Sentul while the one between LKIM and Majuikan revolves around allegations of mismanagement and abuse of power.
tunku : pak lah, johari is having problem with the police since his RM5million case is being investigated.that is why he wants to show that he is greater than the police, as a deputy minister misleading the public when he said that sentul crime rate had increased by 90% and the actual was 10% he should RESIGN immediately.don't worry people already lose confidence in your hp6 cabinet.wish what your preach you will apply it, especially when you said that should stop exchanging replies through the media,If have problems, face each other and sort it out. Talking to the media will not solve the problems, HAVE YOU FACE YOUR FORMER BOSS TO SORT THINGS OUT??
