Jeffrey: 20pc oil royalty to Sabah if...

Parti Keadilan Rakyat (Keadilan) Sabah Deputy Chief, Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan, said Sabah's oil royalty of five per cent would be increased to 20 per cent if the party secures a resounding victory in the next general election.
Furthermore, a Keadilan Federal Government would increase the Deputy Prime Minister slot, he added.
He was addressing some 300 people during a Keadilan forum at Kampung Meninipir, 10km from here, Monday.
He claimed that the 20-Point agreement involving Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore prior to the formation of Malaysia was no longer respected.
He pointed out that the BN Government had failed to resolve the problem of illegal immigrants and corruption in the civil service.

tunku : opposition always promises sky to the voters but impossible for them to deliver.during election they promise everything because they know they won't win therefore there's no promise to be fulfill.jeffrey’s harping on state rights was also an “an old tune and an old story” that was played previously by opposition parties.

This chauvanist Jeffery will stop at nothing to further his aim of 'ruling' Sabah! He will promise anything on earthespecially the impossibles. His main issues are fake IC, illegal immigrants, and corruptions among those in power. His aim is to project himself and trying to outdo his brother Pairin! He is already a bangkrupt politician and can never command any influence amone the majority of Sabahan! A rejected man in search of new footings in politics. Luckily PKR accepted him which will ultimately mark the end of PKR in Sabah.

A reminder to Jeffery not to play too much with issues pertaining to ethenics in Sabah. He'll get burn. Majority of sabahans have accepte BN and its power-sharing concepts. Sabahan have suffered much during 19 yrs under oppossitions. I don't think Sabahan can afford to go through again!

20 points was never an agreement, it was a prerequisite put forward to the British by Sabah/Sarawak leaders before deciding to jointly form Malaysia. These 20 points have since been embedded in the State / federal constitutions and Federation OF MAlaysia Agreement! So why must he raise the matter again? Iam very sure it is only a political stunt to garner support from the Kadazans! He was arrested under ISA because of activities tobring Sabah out of Malaysia. So Sabahan be weary of this shorty, lest you all will regret later on!!
